Not exactly all week one started germinating around 5/1 on the autos and 5/7 on the princess haze and 5/10 for the HSC beans. Looking forward to all this season has to bring for me and the pupperoni!!
@BeezleBuds, Soil testing isn't all that expensive and it's useful to get actual data, instead of guessing what is going on.
As for being able to grow outdoor legally, one day... 🤞🤞
@love_2_grow,that's the move with the soil testing I gotta get into that, I think I'm going to start that train this year too!! I was also taking a peak at some information on nutrient levels in plant tissue, makes me very curious about how useful that information could be at certain times of the growth cycle. The deps I'm doing is just a small PVC hoop house, I'll manually pull tarp over the frame for a few hours before sundown and uncover after dark so I don't have to blow my electric bill because I'm going to run fans and a dehu in the hoop house when it's tarped, I'll post some pictures of it when the plants go outside to their final homes. and thanks for the tip on the mint I will definitely keep that in mind!! I just love growing outside and sleeping out in the garden under the stars I hope the legal status in your country changes soon and you can experience that same freedom my friend!
@BeezleBuds, A fun year indeed :) I'm utterly clueless about outdoor growing (living in an illegal country) but would love to do it one day. How are you going to set up the light dep?
No idea which herbs you are planning, but be careful if you are doing mint. It's a great companion plant due to its bug-repelling properties, but it is invasive af and will easily dominate the area where it is growing. It's better to plant it in its own pot instead of in a bed or ground.
As for the silicate, I doubt that it will be detrimental, but it might be redundant depending on how much hulls you are using. I use around 8% hulls in my current mix, which should provide plenty of silica, but it's a brand-new recipe, so no idea yet about the levels of any nutrients. In fact, I have a couple of bags of soil right behind me, waiting to be shipped to the lab for testing.
@@resimax,thankyou resi!! Happy growing to you as well!! Let me know if you have any game changer suggestions, looking to take this thing to the next level.
