We got Miss Succulent, the sassy queen of the plant world. She's all about that low-maintenance lifestyle, but when it's time to grow, she goes from zero to hero real quick. She's a pro at phasing overfeeding, 'cause she knows that too much food ain't gonna make her any hotter. It's all about finding that balance, just like adding a dash of hot sauce to your avocado toast. :)
I had to re-pot them. Today was the day to introduce them to their 20 l pots outside, since outside temperatures are falling below 5 degrees the next days its better to wait another couple of days or so.
Two different species reach their full potential while growing in their own unique ways. First up, we have Mrs. Chill Cactus. This girl is the epitome of coolness, rocking those prickly spikes like a boss. Her secret to success lies in her slow and steady approach.
Transplantation of these four is working wonders, they look great in the morning stretching their leaves. I hope mold wont be too much of a problem... it will rain!
Fungus gnats have been seen in the area, beware! I added a couple centimeters of sand on top of the substrates as fungus gnats seem to not like laying eggs into sandy soil.
So, my fellow green thumbs, remember that plants, just like us, have their own swagger and style. Whether you're a laid-back cactus or an energetic sunflower, embrace your unique growth journey and reach for the stars. 🌱✌️
Let's not forget about their adaptability superpower. These plants are like the MacGyver of the natural world, thriving in the face of challenges. Whether it's withstanding scorching sunny days, dodging pests with ninja-like skills, or even surviving the occasional forgetful gardener, they've got it all figured out.
Auto Skywalker Haze seems to have been too sweet and got chewed down by snails, she is half the size of the others now. I topped Auto Ultimate - Plant One and started to feed her bloom mix a week early. She got triggered into flowering but is a bit burned as well. Nevertheless still the most promising plant. Overall, they stretched from 25 to 38 cm in the past week. I'm excited about that. May the force be with you growers!
Guess what? We had a little mishap today, a lesson in the art of overwatering. Our green buddies got a bit too much of the wet stuff, and they weren't too thrilled about it. Those droopy leaves and squishy soil were a clear sign that we showered them with way too much love.
Overall all still looked healthy except the Auto Skywalker who is still due to come back after the recent snail attack.
In the whimsical world of my garden, I've witnessed a peculiar phenomenon that has me grinning from ear to ear. Instead of obsessing over blooming, one adventurous plant has decided to embrace a different goal: reaching for the stars! With a determination that would impress any yoga master, it stretches its stems skyward, as if yearning to touch the clouds. Who needs blooms when you can have a plant on a mission to break botanical records? So, I cheer on my green friend, encouraging its audacious dreams of vertical greatness. Aim for the sky, my leafy acrobat! You're a true inspiration in this delightful dance of growth and whimsy.
Auto Ultimate - Plant Two Stretched 25 cm within the past week but does not seem to want to bloom at all! Lets cheer her on. :D
Today, I share the story of four fearless plants in my garden. Three thrive, standing tall and vibrant. But alas, one fell prey to sneaky slugs, leaving a trail of disappointment. Yet, I refuse to surrender. Armed with barriers and repellents, I wage war against these slimy foes!
Oh, let me tell you about this vibrant trio of cannabis plants! We have two eager bloomers, flaunting their lush flowers with pride, and then there's our late bloomer, taking its time but undoubtedly worth the wait. Sativas, known for their fashionably late entrance, never fail to keep us on our toes. Each day brings an anticipation, a fluttering butterfly-like feeling in the gut, as we envision the greatness that awaits us at harvest. It's the thrill of watching these plants grow, the artistry of their leaves reaching for the sun, that fills us with excitement. We nurture them, providing the perfect conditions, and soon, our patience will be rewarded with a bountiful harvest that will send our senses soaring. The thought of it all makes our green hearts skip a beat and fuels our enthusiasm for this remarkable journey. Together, we embrace the adventure and await the day when we can reap the rewards of our hard work.
The plants made a great jump withing the past week. They have been moved now to soak up a bit more sun. I likely harvest a bit early for several reasons, though am not expecting huge returns as the clayish soil seems to prevent root growth and drainage. I had wanted it to be a bit more loemy and less clayish.
Alright, it's time to give these green champs the VIP treatment! Flushing the plants before harvest is like sending them on a spa retreat to detox and rejuvenate. We let 'em soak up pure, clean water, flushing out any residues of fertilizer. It's like a refreshing cleanse for their green souls. And you know what's wild? Plants, they got a mind of their own! They may have their quirks and preferences, but that's what makes growing so exciting. So, let's be hopeful and watch these plants do their thing, blossoming into the beauties they were meant to be. Flushing, rejuvenating, and hoping for a legendary harvest! Let's do this!
Auto Skywalaker seems to have a mind of its own - it looks like first week of bloom.
In the world of plants, genetic diversity holds the key to resilience and adaptation. Just as each individual possesses unique traits and characteristics, some genetic plants are specifically prepared to deal with certain soils better than others. Auto Skywalker Haze demonstrates a remarkable ability to thrive in clayish soil, outperforming the Auto Ultimate in this specific environment. However, it is evident that overall, the soil's characteristics are still inhibiting growth, resulting in fewer nodes developed and considerable stretching during the first week of growth. Even with the addition of coco to the mix, it appears that the soil's limitations persist, providing a valuable lesson for future cultivation endeavors.
Weather worsened, Auto Ultimates harvested for friends' enjoyment at August festival. Taking a break from smoking, grateful for lessons learned and providing crops to loved ones.
Auto Skywalker Haze keeps on growing, she looks beautiful - she was attacked by slugs early but had a great comeback. Although she is late - curious about her finish - seemingly she has a mind of her own pretending to be in second week of flowering whereas she should be finished by now. Anyhow she is flourishing - I already know what to do with the herbs and are looking forward. 🙏
The fertilizer appeared to have a remarkable impact, inducing abundant sugar development in the plant. However, to enhance the overall growth further, consider incorporating a root-specific supplement to fortify the plant's foundation. By nourishing the roots, we can ensure a stronger, more resilient plant, ready to take on the challenges of its environment and yield greater rewards.
With the return of summer's warm embrace, a noticeable transformation sweeps over the cannabis plants. Bathed in abundant sunlight and invigorated by gentle breezes, their growth takes on a renewed vigor. The leaves glisten as they capture the sun's energy, and the vibrant hues of green become even more pronounced. The lengthening days seem to instill a sense of urgency, propelling the plants to reach new heights. As the season unfolds, the synergy between nature and these resilient plants becomes a captivating dance, a testament to the power of sunlight and warmth in nurturing life and fostering exuberant vitality.
Summer returned as we have around 25-30 degrees on average. Some neem oil was used to get rid of sucking thrips.
In a harmonious convergence of nature's gifts, the act of cultivating and delighting in cannabis alongside a cluster of wild raspberry bushes elevates the entire grow area into a sanctuary of scents and sensations. As the cannabis plants flourish under tender care, their aromatic blooms intertwine with the sweet perfume of the wild raspberries, enveloping the surroundings in a heavenly fragrance. This fusion creates a haven akin to a place of reverence, where the act of nurturing life becomes a sacred ritual. In this unique corner, the devotion poured into the growth of both cannabis and raspberries turns the cultivation space into a true sanctuary, inviting a profound connection with nature's bounties and igniting a sense of awe and appreciation for the beauty of the earth's offerings.
Oh man the sent of this plant is best described by its name - Skywalker Haze - the common herby sweet sent that we all love with a smooth, pure, blue-like outflow.
In the world of cannabis genetics, Skywalker Haze stands as a shimmering gem, known for its celestial lineage and the promise of a euphoric journey it carries. As a gardener, I've watched with bated breath as these resilient plants, with their characteristic hybrid vigor, have flourished under my care. Now, with harvest day approaching in just a few short days, the anticipation has reached its peak. Each day brings a crescendo of excitement as the trichomes turn milky and the aroma intensifies, signaling that the culmination of this labor of love is near. With the scent of success hanging in the air, I await the harvest with both pride and aspiration, eager to savor the rewards of this remarkable strain and the journey it represents.
