With the start of week 1 I placed my prized blueberry Pheno(#3) and my monster cropped clones under 24 hours of light and 75% power on my grow lights to re veg them back into the vegetative stage. Once Blueberry #3 puts out new vegetative growth I will take clones and flower out those clones. On day 2 I applied weekly nutrients to stimulate vegetative growth. On day 5 of week 1 I am seeing my clones all revegging. On my Pheno #3 plant I am seeing signs of growth at the growth tips :) I also transplanted pheno #1 and #3 clones to 4" containers in pure coco coir. I got rid of Pheno # 2 because of slow growth and undesirable traits. On day 7 I applied weekly nutrients.
At the start of week 2 my BB # 3 in revegging nicely and should be putting out normal growth soon. My BB #3 plant is revegging but much slower than the clone. It may be that I take clones from my BB # 3 clone instead of clones from the BB #3 plant lol.I also had temps in the 90's outside( I grow in a garage so...) The plants reacted very well to the heat and I'm happy about that 😀. On day 2 I applied nutrients. I raised my clones 2" to balance out the canopy and increase light levels. On day 4 I applied nutrients. The clones are revegging well now 😁 On day 6 I applied nutrients. All the plants are starting to put out normal cannabis leaves with more than one finger. This week has gone well. On day 7 I applied nutrients.
On day 1 I applied morning nutrients (1x day). On day 2 I applied daily nutrients (2x day). On day 3 I applied daily nutrients (2x day). On day 4 I applied daily nutrients (2x day). I also took 12 clones of my blueberry #3 I will keep the best 4. The clones are on the small size because my dome is not really tall. On day 5 I applied daily nutrients (2x day). I misted my clones with water to keep an optimal humidity level in the clone domes. On day 6 I applied daily nutrients (2x day). I also misted my clones. On day 7 I applied daily nutrients (2x day). I also misted my clones. The clones seem happy just waiting for roots 😬
On day 1 I applied daily nutrients(2x day), and misted clones. On day 2 I applied daily nutrients(2x day), and misted clones. On day 3 I applied daily nutrients(2x day), and misted clones. I also defoliated my two large clones. On day 4 I applied daily nutrients(2x day), and misted clones. I also topped my Pheno # 1 clone because it has grown too tall for my grow space. I checked some of my clones today and found one clone just starting to put out roots! 😁. On day 5 I applied daily nutrients(2x day), and misted clones. On day 6 I applied daily nutrients(2x day), and misted clones. On day 7 I applied daily nutrients(2x day), and misted clones.
On day 1 I applied daily nutrients(2x day), and misted clones. Half of the clones have rooted, since I will be away from the garden for two weeks next week I will be transplanting best 3 clones and setting them up with the blumat system. I hope I'm not rushing transplanting but I have no other choice. 😬. I transplanted the best 3 clones and mother plant into 3 gal smart pots, then I installed my blumats to all 4 plants and filled up my reservoir and added nutrients. On day 2 I adjusted Ph of reservoir and checked EC. I changed light schedule from 24 hrs to 18/6. On day 3 I adjusted Ph of reservoir and checked EC. I also added enzyme cleanser into 5 gal reservoir (2.5ml part 1, 2.5ml part 2). On day 4 I adjusted Ph of reservoir and checked EC. I also increased drip frequency on blumats. I'm still dialing in the blumats and hope they will be all set within the next few days as I have to leave for two weeks then. On day 5 I adjusted Ph of reservoir's( I added an additional 5 gal bucket into the system) and checked EC. I now essentially have a 10 gal reservoir to last my vacation. I also pruned suckers on my clones so they focus their growth vertically 😀. On day 6 I adjusted Ph of reservoir's and checked EC. On day 7 I adjusted Ph of reservoir's and checked EC
The clones are now putting out new dark green growth 😀
I'm now on vacation for 2 weeks so all photos will be from my security camera. From what I can tell my new clones are greening up and putting out some new growth. My blumats had a runaway on day 3... luckily my neighbor was around and was able to slow the drip rate down on my one plant which was starting to flood my box. It has now stopped dripping and my hope is there will be no more hiccups..I will be watching closely over my vacation. 😅🙏
Week 7 is going smoothly so far. The flooding issue has subsided and the clones seem to be really taking off now. I'm excited to get back from vacation and really see my girls and my reservoir conditions after a 2 week hiatus.
So after a 2 week vacation I came back to a cannabis jungle! The plants really got away from me so my mainline attempt this time is a bit stretched out and lacking symmetry as they are clones with alternating nodes. I'm taking it as a learning experience. I'm also working on setting up a new grow tent that will be used for my mother plants and clones. This will allow me to harvest perpetually. On day 3 I moved my blueberry mother to my new veg tent and trimmed her. I left the remaining 3 blueberry clones in my flowering box and will switch to 12/12 when the clones have filled out more. I also increased my flowering box grow light from 75 % to 100%. On day 4 I turned light back to 75% because of heat issues. I also watered my mother plant. On day 7 my clones are growing well. I put up sticky traps for fungus gnat problem. I defoliated the lower portion of my clones to increase air flow. I watered my mother plant.
Week 9 is starting out well. My mother plant seems to be doing pretty good in its new home. My clones have grown considerably and the internode spacing is looking better. I will continue to apply LST as the plants grow more. I'm hopeful that I can switch the clones over to flower within the next few weeks :) On day 2 the fungus gnat population is almost zero in my flowering box. I added sticky traps in my veg tent to deal with more fungus gnats ( they came in the canna coco :( ). On day 3 I reduced back to one 5 gal reservoir this will make the transition to flower nutes easier. I'm thinking by next week I will switch to 12/12 as some of my tops are getting a little too tall, I'm just waiting for the smaller tops to catch up. I really wish I had more space but I don't so I will do the best with what I do have :)
Day 1 week 1 flower I switched my lights to 12/12 as my clones were getting taller then I would like so I flipped them a little earlier then intended. On day 3 I defoliated lower growth(suckers) to focus growth towards top of the canopy. On day 4 I changed out my reservoir and added my flower nutes. On day 6 I defoliated my plants to increase air flow lower in the canopy. On day 7 of week 1 flower the clones are doing well. They are still stretching, the leaves look really healthy and I can see the beginning of flower clusters forming.
On day 1 week 2 flower the Gals are really stretching now, hope I have enough room 😂They seem to be taking the flower nutes well even without a transition phase 😀. On day 3 the gals have stretched so much they are within 6 in of my light hoping The stretch will slow down soon yikes 😱. I defoliated the lower and upper canopy to bring in more light and air flow. On day 6 the stretch seems to be slowing down. I increased my light intensity from 75% to 100% to see if I can halt anymore stretching. I also bent my highest colas down as they were touching the grow light 😂. On day 7 flower clusters are forming and the stretch has slowed. I will continue to bend over the tallest colas and do my best to manage the canopy without too much loss of yield. It looks like some of my colas might get light stressed/burnt. There is not much else I can do except learn from my mistakes...next time I would flip the plants earlier and give them stronger light intensity before flowering stretch. The top leaves are canoeing so I reduced light intensity back to 75% to see if they improve. I got my first clog in my blumat systems main line... I will be switching to liquid based fertilizers for the next run as I believe my fertilizer caused the clog. I released the clog by using a pipette filled with water. I took the pipette and squeezed liquid through the main line exiting my reservoir. Then the lines were running smooth 😂
On day 1 week 3 flower I am slowly readjusting blumats after reset from fertilizer clog. The flower clusters are building. The leaves are still somewhat canoeing but it seems better since I dimmed light back to 75%. On day 4 I can tell that the stretch is over now. The girls tops are still too close to the grow lights, but it is too late to top/prune the plants so I may end up with some burnt colas. I am going to take the risk and know at the bare minimum I will have all the lower bud sites that are in the proper light intensity. On day 6 the flowers are definitely getting larger. The girls are starting to put off their blueberry smell nothing strong yet but it is building :). On day 7 the girls are doing well, i look forward to seeing the buds put on weight and smell :)
On the start of week 4 flower the gals are doing well :) The Blueberry scent is getting stronger. I defoliated lower growth sites and cleaned up the top canopy to let more light and air in. I couldn't get everything I wanted to prune because I cant reach the back of the canopy, so some larf will be expected on my plant in the back of the box. On day 2 its all on cruize control now not much else to do but keep my reservoir on point and wait for the girls to bulk up and mature :). On day 6 I mixed up a new 5 gal reservoir with my bloom nutes. At the end of week 4 flower the girls smell great :). the smell is building every day along with the buds :) I'm really happy and surprised with the production at only week 4. It seems my clone may be optimized to my growing environment and or the increased light levels from being too close to the grow lights have accelerated the flowering process.
On the 5th week of flowering day 1 the girls are chugging along, growing bigger by the day and smelling excellent :). On day 5 the girls are putting on a lot of weight. I'm very excited about harvest:). On day 7 The girls are doing well. I had a small clog in my bluat system on one of my carrots. I have fixed the clog by massaging the small pipe that was clogged. it has been tough using powdered nutrients with this system as there has been a few clogs. I will be switching to water soluble nutrients with drip clean to keep lines clear on my next grow. I just need to make it through the next few weeks to harvest :)
On day 1 week 4 flower the girls are bulking up smelling great and some pistils are turning orange. The trichomes are still mostly clear with some milky trichomes starting. On day 3 one of my blumats had a runaway I believe from fertilizer sediment all I can do this late in the game is to lower the flow rate and hope that will solve the problem. It is strange that this is the same blumat that flooded when I went on vacation earlier on in the grow. I will inspect the blumat closer when I finish the grow. I tightened the carrot down 1.5 carrots. Except for the minor flood the girls are doing very well, even though they are too close to my grow lights :). On day 6 almost all the buds are starting to have a second growth spurt with some small white pistils showing, the trichome concentration is visibly growing and I expect to harvest the girls between week 8 and 9 of flower.
On week 7 day 1 I chopped two tops that were in the way of getting to the back of the tent. I quick dried them and tested them and determined the girls need another week or more before harvest. I lowered my day time and night time temps by 5 degrees to bring out the colors. On day 5 The trichomes are turning milky and I'm excited for harvest, shouldn't be more than a week :) On day 7 I changed out the reservoir with straight water in order to leech my plants before harvest.
I cut down the girls a little early to make room for my next run. The trichomes were roughly 50-75% milky. I hung the plants upside down in my veg tent which will temporally be my drying tent while BB dries. I will be running a small fan and a carbon filter to reduce the smell. I'm happy with my results even with the plants too close to the light. I was able to produce a decent harvest with good medicine :) more updates after the dry and smoke test.
