Week 1 of the germination phase went well, the seed germinated in 24 hours and was placed in soil right after that. The electro conductivity of the water going in was about 145 and the solution's pH was about 6.0.

This week went as expected, the plant is responding to stressors like being placed in front of an oscillating fan, along with being sat in a medium with supercharged soil. In response, the plant is growing taller than its neighbors in the same week that have less stressors applied, in addition, new growth is demonstrating a deformed phenotype. My thought is that the plant is responding to stressors by trying to grow larger, signs of hunger indicate a need to grow larger, faster. EC going in was about 135, due to Happy Frog's soil's tendency to raise the pH of water being fed, a pH level of about 4.5 was dropped into the medium, along the outer perimeter of where the root ball was estimated to be. Stick around for more updates on how my CBDutch Treat's vigor is being put to the test.

CBDutch Treat is getting more complicated, its leaves continue to develop, and is no longer directly under the oscillating fan, so my theory is that we should see the uncontrollable vertical growth start to slow down. I dropped really low pH'd water on another plant last week, so I decided to take it easy on the pH down this week for this plant. I treated CBDutch Treat with water that had a pH of 6.5 this week, but it's just the start of week 2 vegetation, I have another two weeks to lower the soil pH to 5.0, which reminds me, I should begin documenting that change next week. One more note, since relocating the plant to a place that is not directly under the fan, it stopped showing signs of hunger, as can be seen in the images taken for this week's diary. That was an important development, because it's one of the hypotheses I noted last week in my personal notes. Stick around folks, I am documenting how CBDutch Treat reacts to adversity in a controlled environment.

This CBDutch Treat phenotype is getting taller and more complicated, side branches have started to develop in lower nodules, but water will not be applied this week, since the plant is in a 3-gallon pot, so growth there will likely slow until next week. In the meantime, the no adverse effects to supercharged soil noticed this week, the plant still seems to be responding by demonstrating some signs of hunger, uncontrollable vertical growth stopped last week, as demonstrated by the internodal spacing ratio between at the plant's lower extremities. Visit tomorrow for numbers on all my observations.

Being that the soil is supercharged, and that we are using it to push this phenotype to its limits, the tds being applied is low. The plant has done some growing since last week, and after establishing a bit of structural stability, the previously noted signs of hunger are finally going away with older leaves on prune day. Going forward, we will keep an eye on the veins of the margins on our newer leaves, which seem to be lightening up a bit.

What a beautiful plant. It developed an excess reaction to the super soil it was placed in, but now she is transplanted and returning to normal. As a smaller phenotype, her branches are compact and each section of leaves available give this plant such a proportional look that I am tasking myself to demonstrate by feeding her calmag in the following weeks as she flowers. Great pleasure to have been able to grow this plant.

This plant is ready to flower, I will give it another week, and try seeing how it responds to a small dose of powdered CalMag. Though the plant is no longer is super charged soil, there are more adversities on the horizon I am sure.

As previously noted, the plant's previous soil condition was supercharged, and forgetting that this phenotype was transplanted into soil with one-part super soil, I reported that it was in a fresh soil medium. That note being added to this journal, the white hue in this CBDutch Treat's leaves is a result of a white tea solution that included insect frass, calmag, and rootboost. Obviously raising the soil's EC a bit, because the substrate's electricity power was about 600. It has developed another toxicity problem, but apical regions continue to thrive.

This plant currently sits in a soil mixture that is one-part super soil, in the previous week it was in a soil mixture that was three-parts super soil. Since, the plant has been uncomfortable, a bit disappointing, as I thought this hemp variety would be stronger, but its apical regions continue to succeed. It almost seems to have abandoned its lower branches for new growth, because there have been almost no noticeable changes in those areas since pistils appeared. Its new leaves have significantly reduced in size, the interesting part this week is that the plant's leaves have reduced in size. I am predicting smaller colas than had the plant been flowering in 3 parts fresh soil.

I am inferring based on the given images that the plant is suffering from a molybdenum, but if anyone would like to discuss my theory feel free to add your thoughts. Some additional notes include the total restriction of any water and nutrients in the phloem, a deep yellow coloration of both the xylem and phloem. The pheno was transplanted to a totally fresh soil medium, where she may return to normal. things to expect include larger leaves, better cola formations, and an improvement in leaf color. If you have been following this journal, you know that the last transplant included 1-part super soil, so we learned that CBDutch Treat is sensitive to anything over one-part super soil.

We're back and in flower. It would be interesting to see if the fan leaves will return to normal size, or if they will stay dwarfed.

This week I think the most notable change is not just in the growth of fan leaves that were greatly reduced by the supper soil, but also in the formation of the cola. Here is an example of a four clover phenotype at the top of a side cola. The bract or calyx in this plant are turning black, someone in another diary said it would be purple, what do you guys think?
