First attempt ever, on low budget, got the easy start kit from rqs. I'm using some mirrors I had laying around to deflect light to the lower branches, not sure if a great choice or not, but I'm on the first grow, with zero experience so I'm just experimenting.

D31 the smallest (22 cm) started flowering. The other two (24cm) not yet. D32 trying LST on two on the plants (one started flowering one not, the third started flowering but I'm not gonna train her). D33 still growing, one of the bigger ones has not started flowering yet. D34 added photos. Mid plant yet to start flowering.

. Added more light (45w) to help with flowering and a reptile heat mat (7W, 40°C max) to increase temp, I didn't put it directly under the pots but behind one of the mirrors to increase ambient temp so it doesn't hurt the roots. D49: new lamp and heat mat are apparently useful, biggest plant grew 2cm since last night. Wish me luck!

Grow Questions

Can someone look at the most recent photos and tell me if this is normal (the close up of the pistils) ? The last two days I haven't see any changes in the plants: no height gain, flowering seems to go slowest. Is this okay?

That the plant stopped it's vertical growth means that it will focus it's energy and resources into producing buds. It's hard to tell if the plant is doing anything, but if you take pictures every 5 days you will notice how it developed it's buds. Your temperatures are fine, why would you want to use a heating mat? That could give you root problems. You recently transplante the plants and most likely disturbed the roots giving it some transplant shock, in a few days it will start growing. Be patient and good luck.

I added a reptile mat (7W max 40°C) to help with the cold and an extra led (45W) to help with flowering. I think my biggest is forming her first bud, so excited to see them grow so fast. D52, so, I removed the mirrors to make more space for my plants and replaced them with aluminium foil. The big one is still growing in height, but flowering, it's now 61cm. I didn't think it could grow so big, the other two are trained so not so big (40ish cm) , more bushy. D54, the big one is still growing! 63cm so far. Added some photos of buds coming up. At this speed I think the second and third plant (slowest) will have to be harvest later. I'm so excited to see them grow bigger buds, seems like the Biobizz Indoor kit it's doing its work.

D57, biggest plant reached 67cm. Is it ever gonna stop? Biggest and second are fine, third is a little behind and I switched to get her more light. Plants are drinking faster these days, should I worry? D61, biggest still growing, the smallest one is really slow, still in preflower I think. D62, biggest is 72cm, the others about 51 cm. Yesterday I found a bug on the slowest one and I had to cut one leave because of a white substance that looked like it could be eggs from some insect. I checked every leaf for bugs and haven't found any, so I hope it was an isolated case, maybe from an open window

Sorry for the lack of week 10, I was busy at university with exams and didn't have time to update. D72, biggest and second looking good, third seems a lot behind, it's growing again after stopping for a while, don't know why. I'm struggling with temps since outside is like 6°C and I'm thinking it's what is slowing down the plants, not sure though. Any idea how to keep them warm enough? So, a week before Christmas I have a plane to catch, I think the flowered twos would be ready by then, but not the third slow one, do you think I can save her by putting some cheap irrigation system? Or should I push them in some way? D75, seems like the biggest one finally stopped growing, I was worried she was gonna be too big. The second one is showing some brown thricomes on the main cola, hoping she would be ready in the next two weeks. I'm worried about the third plant, she's looking a bit paler and it's definitely not gonna be ready before my trip. I'm gonna decide if I want to keep her going solo when I'll be away, and see if she's gonna make it in the two weeks I'll be gone or if I'll throw her away. Seems a waste though since she's stretching again and has a lot of branches. Guess I'll decide in the next two weeks.

D81, second one is doing pretty well, maybe she will be ready before my trip. The biggest needs some time, not a lot of brown thricomes on that one. I decided to buy a cheap irrigation system to keep the third going while I'm away, hoping I don't have to use it on the biggest, I would hate for something to go wrong while I'm not here. So, the second is showing a lot of brown thricomes and looks milky on the microscope, should I flush her? D84 update: I oven dried one little test bud from the second plant, gave me quite the couchlock, in a couple day I'm gonna half harvest her, leaving the less mature buds to grow fatter.

D88, did a little defoliation to have better light on the buds. This did miracles for the space problem. Also, I decided to chop only the main cola of the second plant and leave the smallest buds to fatten while I'm away. Quick update: I broke my arm and the flying company says I can't board before they take my cast off, so I will be back with a 10/12 days delay. I hope my plants survive :/

And I'm back, my plants survived a month alone with just a drip for irrigation and freezing temps. While I was away the temps dropped a lot, it did snow even thought it rarely does, but I'm kinda grateful because the cold has permitted my plants to survive one entire month without anyone checking on them. So, I already harvested the smallest one, that is now drying before curing, will post an update when I get the dry weight. About the biggest: main cola and higher branches seem ready to me, so I think I'm gonna harvest soon and leave the lowest branches to get some more light. Any suggestion? Do you think she's ready? D134, harvested most of the biggest plant and did a LST defoliation on the third

For the smaller one, maybe I should have not harvested the main cola before parting. Lots of popcorn buds. I kept a few for hash. Roughly 34g. Taste is bit harsh, the effect a good couchlock, but not as strong as I wished. The biggest one is not totally harvested, I left some smaller branches to take a little more light but so far is good. The main cola gave me 11g alone so I have roughly 73g not totally harvested. Taste is totally better than the smallest one.
