- The two Zkittlez sprouted before either of the BPP
- Banana Purple Punch came up the next day. BPP #2 seemed to have a problem casting off its shell but I was able to knock half of it off.
- Spider Farmer SE3000 running at 40% about 30" away. 150 PPFD
- Day 3,5,7 gave them R/O Ph 6.2 misting.
- Soil is HP Pro Mix w/ Myco plus 1tbsp per gallon of Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4, Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom
Not much to report.
Week 2 begins, still just light watering with R/O PH'd to 6.2, just enough to keep them moist.
Increased PPFD to 200 for week 2.
BPP #2 struggled during sprouting to cast off it's seed shell, it appears deformed but should work out well enough, some stunted growth expected.
Once again not much going on but the plants got a little leggy/stretched and so I used some training wire to support them for a couple days, they stand on their own now however. This was the case for all except Zkittlez #2 which I suspect is going to be a nice plant. BPP#2 still lagging behind the others due to the seed shell getting stuck during sprouting. Day 10 gave the plants each 15ml of a sea kelp/RO mixture. Day 14 watered them with a compost tea (Molasses, sea kelp, half a pint of strawberries and some other kitchen scraps, as well as 1 tbsp of epsom salt and 1 tbsp of egg shell/vinegar solution. This all mixed into 2 gallons of R/O water ph'd to 6.2
PPFD increased to 400
Week 3 arrives and brings with it fungus gnats
Sticky traps in each pot and moved a rosemary plant into the room, if the problem persists neem oil into the soil
Began LST today
PPFD increased to 450
plants look decent enough, except for BPP 2 the one that had helmet head, not sure what will become of it yet
Week 4
Gnats seem to have been dealt with
Flowering has begun but not yet in earnest
Scrapped Banana Purple Punch #2 the deformed one, just wasn't worth the time.
LST to keep the canopy even height from light
Some light toxicity in BPP #1, leaf tip yellowing, so turned the light back to about 65 percent
Other than that the plants seem decent, no longer PH'ing water just using snow melt every few days
Top dressed all 3 plants with 5 tbsp of Gaia Green Powerbloom
Probably won't use the Strive nutes this run, they seem to be doing fine with just the soil mix and the Gaia Green
PPFD 350
