First Grow Ever, trying out Apple Betty

buddnz First time grower, trying out this strain because it seemed pretty straight forward. Taking its time flowering, really slow anyway. Ph in the soil is quite high, which may be the cause. Have dropped the water Ph down to 5.8 when feeding and have given it a dose of Aluminium Sulphate. Mostly focused on LST after topping once, trying to keep all the bud sites at the same height by pulling branches down using garden ties and a trestle.

buddnz pH 5.8 water once this week. Slow and steady seems to be the name of the game. Removed a few leaves and the plant was also pushing out to the sides of the tent which required some work.

buddnz Crusing along, bud sites seem to be fattening up slowly. A really fruity smell going on at this point, guessing that's the apple coming through.

buddnz Water ppm issues may have been the reason behind slow growth. Have noticible changes after sorting it out and that's only over 3 days.

buddnz Not much to report, still slowing fattening up.

buddnz A lot more foliage popping up all over the stems. Going to leave it there as the light manages to reach the budsites easily enough. It still has a really fruity/sweet smell, almost like lollies.

buddnz A bit of nutrient burn on the tips of the leaves this week, so I'm using only PH 6 water the majority of the time. Bit of yellowing on some leaves because of this, not too bad though.

buddnz Bit of a slow week, had to adjust my water routine due to some burning on the leaves. The outside temp was a lot lower, which means the water was holding in the soil much longer than it was previously. Leaves are starting to yellow a bit, nearing the end.

buddnz Pretty close to harvesting now, next couple of days I'll take another look at the terpenes and make a call. Still a really strong fruity/sweet smell.
