I totally forgot about this diary! Figured I might as well provide an update. I'll try to provide a summary here and backfill with pictures as I find them.
3 tall plants heading into late flower. Started seeing orange hairs peeking through on all 3 plants, so I'll probably be harvesting here in another 3 weeks or so. I honestly thought the Shogun was going to end up too tall for the tent, but thank goodness everything stopped stretching before I topped out my light height.
Veg was fine, I employed a training technique called manifolding. Basically the plants were grown out to 5 nodes, then topped to 3 nodes. Those two main stems were then topped again after the plant recovers, and one final time a week before flower.
My two 5gal girls (One Super Silver Haze and one Shogun) were topped until they reached 8 main stems, all being fed through the main split in the plant at the 3rd node. My smaller 3gal Shogun plant was simply topped once and left alone.
Plants were transplanted 3 times during veg, solo into 1gal, into 3gal, into 5 gallon finishing pots for the bigger plants. The smaller plant went from a Solo to 1gal to a 3gal finishing pot.
Plants were top dressed with Powerveg and Powerbloom a week before the flip, which happened about 1.5 months ago. Plants were top dressed with PowerBloom halfway through the flowering period a few weeks ago.
Canopy is pretty evenly spaced so all I'm having to do is keep my two fans pointed up into the bottom of the canopy. Keeps the humidity right around 65ish percent in the canopy with plenty of airflow. The Gals just get calmag water with some blackstrap molasses mixed in now, roughly a gallon per watering when the soil starts to feel dry about 2-3" down. I'll probably keep that going until it's time for the flush.
