So the outdoor 2024 season has officially started, we have the runtz and ice cream cake from barneys farm, big thanks to them sending me these strains to test outdoors.
Both seeds are looking strong less than 48hr in soil and there up, these 2 girls are gonna spend few week indoor till there ready to pot up then they will go in the greenhouse till ready to go to the spot where they will spend the rest there days.
These plants will be going in the same spot as last years fem run but will be cleared out more and hopefully fingers crossed they don’t get pestered by slugs and rabbits like the year before.

The first week is over for these girls. The runtz is lagging a little behind the others but still growing at her own pace, where as the cake is doing the best out lot, really strong and plenty of noticeable growth each day. Gonna put these ladies up next few days in some fresh soil. That’s all this week, happy growing 🌱
Happy 420 for yesturday everyone!
These 2 girls are now at 2 weeks old, they are looking strong and healthy. Potted them up as pots was drying really fast, within a day of being in there new pots can see new growth. Will give them another week or 2 indoor before putting into greenhouse.

Another well for these plants , both are looking really strong and healthy, the ice cream cake just has the edge over runtz on size but both doing great. Indoor light packed in so moved them into greenhouse, will bring them out few hours in the day when sun is out and put back over the night.

Both plants looking healthy and strong, the ice cream is really taking off compared to the runts but still doing good. Had few nice days of sun this week so I placed them out for few hours in the day. Maybe another 2 week till they go to the spot, few bits to clear out then they will be in.

Another week gone for these girls and there doing really well. The runts has closer node spacing but I believe the ice cream cake has stretched a bit more with being in greenhouse and the runts has a better spot in there. Will hopefully get them in ground next week. Not gave no feed as soil should have enough to keep going till go in ground.

Another great week for both these plants, both are looking nice and healthy. Gave a little grow as they were looking a little pale. Had good few days of sun and been thriving in the greenhouse. I’ve topped the ice cream this week as was shorting up, the runts still around 5inch but real close nodes compared to the ice cream. Both plants filling there pots now they will be good till go in ground.

Both these girls are doing great, the ice cream cake is showing signs of growth after her being topped. The runts is still short but looking strong. Will hopefully get them out this week depending on the weather. Both filled the pots but will hold off till go in ground then they will shoot up!

Both still stuck in there pots , the original spot is no good this year I’ve a few plants in there and just keep getting messed up by the slugs so I’m not planting and new ones in there.
However I’m on to a new small spot that’s a little more riskier but that’s what it’s all about , I’ve just a bit more chopping away and opening it up more for these to go in.
Weather hasn’t been the best mostly coudy and showers, so makes the job a little more work.
We will soon be there and these will be into the ground shooting off.

These girls are finally in the ground after a hard graft gutting down brambles and nettles. Hoping these girls should start to take off now there in ground.

Around a week these girls been in the ground, both not shown much growth in that time but I’m sure they will very soon. Been and gave a good feed this week. The weather has been poor with rain and clouds but fingers crossed that will change. Maybe around 8 week left till they will start to flower so need all the growth they can get.

Both plants doing okay, not taking of really to day been in ground few week now. The weather hasn’t been great either, mostly cloudy and rain. It is looking better for next week but can change. Will give a good feed of grow next few days. Will top the runts maybe on next visit.

Both plants look happy just gave a feed and water every other day. Took a few leaves off for better air flow, weather has been great fingers crossed it keeps up for when they hit flower in few weeks.

Both plants still growing nice, no training done to these as I’ve been on with the autos when I’ve been down. I’ve managed to take some leaves off and so inner nodes on the branches to allow more top growth. I’ve been giving water and feed every other day. The weather hasn’t been the best but not the worst either. Havnt had the space in the spot this year to do any trying down it’s the first proper year in this spot so I’ve gone through the winter months to make it more suitable.

Both these plants doing okay not branching out as much as some the others, I have had autos in close contact and they’ve not had much space but not I’ve chopped the autos around should see some better growth.
Gave a feed and light defo will just keep watering them shouldn’t be too long for pre flower.

Both these plants are doing well, not long since started flowering , don’t think they are gonna fully finish as the weather has took a turn for worst. It’s now gone cloudy and rainy most days, so I will continue to go down and keep checking for any rot. I’ve took few leaves off to allow better air flow.
