I germinated both seeds in previously watered Jiffy Pots. The plants emerged after about 3-4 days. I then transferred the Jiffy Pots with the seedlings directly into the final pot consisting of a Biobizz Light/Coco mix and Florganics Living Soil fertilizer. Originally I had planned to grow 2x Gorilla Zkittlez, but a fan fell on one of the two seedlings and destroyed it. I then immediately germinated a new seed using the same method, but with a different strain. So now I have a Gorilla Zkittlez and a Kush Mintz, both from Barney's Farm.
Only watering, a lot of growth happened in this week. Did some FIM and LST on the Gorilla Zkittlez, bounced back quickly. Cut two clones from the GZ during LST.
Topped the Kush Mintz, clones rooted, put the plants under a net to get somewhat of an even canopy and flipped to 12/12 on last day of the week. Light on 60% during the last days of the week.
- Still only feeding Water with a bit of CalMag during the week.
- Did some light defoliation on F17 to provide better Airflow and get rid of the little Popcorn Buds.
- Turned up the light intensity to 80% on day F18
- Cruising into week 8, still Water + Calmag.
- Smell develops slowly, Kush Mintz is ahead of the Gorilla Zkittlez though it is around a week younger.
- added a little organic tomato fertilizer on day f25
Cruising along into week 9, still only feeding water and some calmag.
Gorilla Zkittlez is chasing the Kush Mintz and she is looking more hungry than the KM.
Smell is developing very slow.
Added an oscillating fan to provide some Airflow on the canopy, put the old fan on the bottom to let it blow through the lollipopped bottom.
Filled up soil and added a layer of mulch to keep humidity in the pot
I am satisfied with the beginning of flowering week 6, looking forward to defoliate a little bit during the week to get more light to the buds.
Still feeding only water with a bit of CalMag, we will see if the soil can keep up with this in the next weeks.
"The Fade" seems to start slowly at day F43.
I am still very satisfied with this Grow.
Had to use Organic Tomato Fertilizer once again, but beside that i am still feeding only water with calmag.
Lowered light intensity at F50 to simulate fall a bit more and keep temperatures under control
