Seeds in the wild grow from direct sun. Its best to expose it early on. do it in small increments and look up something called hardening off. This is what you want to be doing. I direct plant my cannabis seeds outdoors and give them no special treatment in terms of shading them from the elements outdoors. its sink or swim for them. They almost all grow up just fine, there are some dude seeds every now and then. Eg i am planing out my outdoor grow this year and have about 7 plants out there. planted last week and the majority of them popped up already. Given its in a small pot the they can dry out faster once the roots are established, when its ready, transplant it, I like doing this on a day it may rain on or is overcast so it less stress for them.
