Blackberry Kush Auto outdoor - organic balcony grow
Blackberry Kush stretches. I could form a nice bushy structure and the plant reacts well with a lot of flowers which get direct sunshine.
It‘s my first grow. This one is the second cannabis plant, popped out of my homemade charcoal compost potting mix.
I feed my plants with light homemade fertilizers and water with rainwater 1-2 times per week. The plants love it, like my tomatoes and peppers do and did in the past.
The plant doing well. She have a good smell but it‘s not really intense yet. The flowers look healthy and it‘s already possible to see how she produce the purple berry colors in trichomes. I have an eye on nitrogen. This was too much and I‘m thinking about a flush, which already helped my first cannabis plant Tropicana. So Blackberry Kush is not ready yet. I think we‘ll end in the middle of July or later. I like to vape my cannabis cause I‘m a medical user. And for this it‘s good to have a fully ripe flower. I need to water in the mornings and late afternoons.
The week was partly sunny and partly rainy and our plants had to be canopied on the balcony nearly every day. Rare sunny hours. Humidity is mostly ok, but I‘m checking now very regular if the plant need to be harvested. The flowers are covered in trichomes, pistils got brown on the upper flowers, the larger fan leaves loose their color and I could spot first amber. But I want to wait as long as possible.
Pure rainwater in the morning and in the evening. Flushing first time with a good drainage.
Trichome fotos at the end :)
This will be the last week for my Blackberry Kush. She will be in the dark basement for the next days.
The weather is far from ideal. High humidity, lot‘s of rain showers.
Unfortunately I found bud rot, so I had to harvest without leaving the plant 2-3 days in the dark.
I‘m satisfied with the harvest but I lost something like several grams at the end because of bud rot in two dense flowers.
