my friend is using them for 5 years, swears by them , loves them, his plants are huge, he grows in coco. but i sometimes had similar results in soil, then he started to feed and water twice a day, i doubt i would ever catch him now ;) he collects run off, dont let them to stand in it. buds are really dense and big, reminds cali weed , but his wife always loved my weed more, she dont smoke, but smell from my organic grows was making her happy, husband weed iritaded her a bit ;)

Genetics is 95% of that, assuming competency growing otherwise. Red wavelengths will reduce branching, very slightly. It's not going to make your yield bigger. That is mostly about DLI. if giving 35-40 DLI in ambient co2 conditions, you'll reach 50g/sq ft when doing everything right. can some genetics do better, maybe, but it's a solid goal for most decent plants. I used to worry about my 'newer' 3400K lights. I was using DIY 2900K lights before that. I have seen no difference under other of them in 3 years of comparison so far. I know i've grown the same strain under each and they come out as expected. NEver tried compaingn clones, but if it's not easily noticeable it's not something to fret about. I had buyer's remorse initially, but since then all those worries were totally unwarranted. People have strong opinons on this stuff, but without any data to back it up i'd be skeptical.

all marijuana plants work the same. the breeder may not be as selective in their breeding processes as someone else but that doesn't change how you treat the plants. 35-40 dLIi with a well-balanced diet will be 90% of the equation outside of genetics. (genetics being 90% of everything, so the things we control are only 9% of the total, lol) people that think very highly of themselves for growing a weed well have a very low bar for success, bwahaha.

would say watering issues, not nute related, think you overwater plants a bit, or at least let them stand in run off or so. i see patches of bleaching, which reminds beginning of calcium deficiency, some leaves abit too dark, aka too much nitrogen, but generally all is VERY good atm !!!

Looking at your pics in diary week I can see some borderline N tox on some of the lower leaves with clawing in the one pic. Plus the plant is looking extra lush and darker green. Another sign of a bit to much N, I tend to run into this problem myself with the nutrients I use. I don't think you need to flush or anything just be aware of it and try and correct it for your next feeding and grow. N is still very much needed in flower in almost the same amounts as in Veg but it can get spiked and build up easily. This is something many users forget and will drop the N down to low low levels. Check out the diaries of users answering questions, hard to tell with blank profiles if they legit or not. Some are, a lot are not. Good Luck!

and as stated redundantly in my two other answers to your 2 other questions, lol., DLI CCT of any grow light context by far and not a debate. DLI is only counting PAR wavelengths. Photosynthetically Active Radiation.

ETAs - when it looks almost bud like (except not shrunk up from drying, which it will shrink significantly), i'd guesstimate 7-14 days. really depends onthe strain. some stuff really ripens fast at the end and others do not. pistil visible length and coloration density of buds trichome coloration use all three. don't put a time frame to it.... simlpy read and react. the less you think about it the less likely your compulsions impact your behaviour.

think your 67oz per your area is about 60g/sq ft. 70oz is 64g/sq ft. This is doable and repatable but maybe not every time. that will depend on zero problems and good genetics. Also, some people measure from the taint and call your 5"er a 9"er, so you never know with each individual how they are putting their finger on the scale. DLI (real dli) and ambient co2 are by far and away the most important factors that dwarf all other factors. TL;DR people that have trouble paying attention for more than 150 charcters should stop now. Technically better not to sacrifice dli, but you may not be doing so anyway given the amount of error of a phone app measuring ppf/ppe -- ppfd takes several measurements equally spaced and sasme distance from light across entire canopy and averaged out. if using a phone app to measure DLI it's off by as much as 10-15%. Your 3300K light will register a different value than the 5500K light even if they produce the exact same umol/s of PAR. All phone apps convert from lux using some conversion factor that will not fit all grow lights. your phone is not a quantum meter. light and co2, assuming competent growing methods, are all that matter for yield beyond genetics. The rest is such a tiny effect that you should never sacrifice overall light intensity for any common sense grow light context. 5500k might be a borderline good reason. You'd have to test and see. I find zero difference from 2900K and 3400K halves of my room - from vege to flower things turn out more or less as i expect. the dense buds are dense. the bushy plants are bushy. Whatever effect cct has is so tiny you cannot see it with a small garden. 10,000 plants in a commercial context? it might matter. with average yielders you should be able to do 50g/sq ft, which is 540g per m^2. Better genetics will outpace that. Some plants are heavy yielders and some are not. I consider anything under 50g/sq ft a shit-ass plant, but others may feel differently. That doesn'tmean i nexpect zero defects and zero hermies. they are bound to happen and that obviously ruins any targeted grams per area goal. supposedly that 5500k will result in slightly fluffier buds, but how much? it should cause slightly more branching (proven effect) but that effect is not profound. Just how profound is it when it comes to buds? if there is a yield difference between those lights it'll be more so due to differing DLI 90% than cct 10% - i'm pulling those numbers out of the ether but the scale is probably being quite liberal with the supposed effect. dli and co2, assuming other things are done competently are 90% or more of the contributing factors to yield. 42dli, if accurate, might be too much for ambient co2, too. So, you may not see damage immediately, but it's also not gaining any weight from the excess photons. Might just be thinning out the pigment like it would under the sun. Leaves adapt to the light you provide. This should make you think twice about drastically shifting light properties from vege to flower. the effects of differing CCT are tiny and the effect of overall light intensity is great. cocoforcannabis has a couple good articles onthis -- avoid the forums as that's rife with bad info from user contributions, lol. dr photons corner and their guides are good though. People like to extrapolate and sound science-y, but these effects are tiny to start. they ignore that scale as they form poor conclusions.

Looking good! 😍 But at least a few more weeks to go buddy. When you use a pocket microscope to check the trichomes you can tell the ideal time to harvest. This is the best method and I would already start using it to learn how to read the trichomes. They are now clear as glass, you want them to be milky white and not degrading then they become amber browinish. When most of the trichomes are milky white it is the ideal time to harvest. If you do not want to use a pocket microscope then you can harvest when about 80% from the hairs (pistils) are brown. Happy Growing Buddy! 💚

If you have a lower RH than 55%, it can help to ensure a slower drying. If you have a higher RH than 60% I personally would avoid it and not risk the chance of mold. I can imagine myself going crazy and checking my plants every 2hours for mold. But thats only for drytrimming which i assumed you do when you hang whole plants. I guess when you wettrim its no problem. But thats just in theory, i never did it mate.
