07-20-2024 First time doing a scrog. If you have any scrog related advice for a novice please comment below. Thanks. The Super Strains Amnesia cut grows really fast and managed to recover from a slight calcium deficiency after transplanting into the 7 gallon in three days. Watering with a mix of reverse osmosis and tap water which is very low in Ca & Mg. Added some minerals, kelp meal and micos to the soil to compensate for a few weeks before introducing regular CalMag. From the overall growth I suppose the net will be filled in about 2 weeks. I will flip a few days before that happens as I don't really want that much vertical growth. To keep humidity as low as possible I am not trying to pull as much as possible. Don't want to run the dehumidifier 24/7 through flower again... shits expensive lol Light is set to about 500 PPF at net height in the center. DLI is about 30ish. Will keep it that way until flower and then go up to 800. 07-23-2024 Plant is growing vigorously. I suppose I have to top once more to cover the screen nice and evenly. 08-03-2024 - 08-09-2024 08-03-2024 Flipped to flower. Adjusted the lights height to about 50cm to get the most even lighspread and the output to about 800ppf dead center. 08-06-2024 Started to add 0.5ml TNC CalMag per Liter. Added 1 tsp Molasses and half a tsp of MycorrHydro per 5l today as well. Took off a few shoots and a lot of leafs under the net. 08-06-2024 Still slight Calcium deficiency. 08-10-2024 - 08-16-2024 08-14-2024 She started to stretch. I upped the CalMag to 2ml per Liter and added. some Biobizz Grow, Bloom and Top Max as well as some top dressing with BioBizz Pre-Mix. She is a very heavy feeder... 08-15-2024 The nutrient deficiency issues are almost completely gone over night after reducing the ppf from 850 to 650... too much of a good thing is still too much right? Will keep her at 650 ppf for now and let her recover properly. 08-18-2024 She has almost recovered from Calcium deficiency. Currently adding 1.5ml CalMag per liter of water. I might need to go even higher but for the moment I am waiting to see if the plant will recover completely with what she gets now. 08-19-2024 Defoliated and lollipopped today. 08-16-2024 - 08-23-2024 08-22-2024 She is still stretching. Grew about 45cm since the flip measured from the netting. She is slowly recovering from slight phorphorus toxicity. Could have started feeding later but I didn't want to run into any deficiencies during early flower. My gut tells me this strain will go 9 to 10 weeks in flower. The claimed 55 days are not realistic under my conditions. 08-29-2024 Last day of week 3 of flower. The plant is done stretching for the most part. It grew about 50cm since we introduced flower. The buds are starting to grow bigger and the smell became a lot more intense. The plant has a sweet citrus smell with some tart notes to it. Nothing like any Amnesia Haze I have come across so far. Currently I am not running my dehumidifier but I will need to set it up in the upcoming week to lower the humidity. Starting with the night hours and as soon as the buds get bigger 24h. The tent is crowded enough to get mold quickly so we better keep the humidity below 60% all the time. So far we learned this strain grows best at low ec. We only did two feedings of Biobizz Grow and Bloom nutrients and the second one already caused slight phosphorus toxicity. She does need a fair amount of Ca & Mg though. We apply 1.5ml of GHE CalMag per liter with each watering. We are curious to see if she demands any additional feedings in the upcoming weeks though. Another thing we noticed is that in our conditions she doesn't take high amounts of light well. At 800ppf she started to show Calcium deficiency after a few days. Even bumping up the Calmag didn't resolve this. 08-24-2024 - 08-30-2024 09-01-2024 Entering week 4 of flower she is focusing on growing buds. She got 240ml of Biobizz Pre-Mix organic dry fertilizer, molasses and TNC MycorrHydro. This plant still baffles me with the fact that the upper leafs on the right side of the plant are a touch lighter than the upper leafs on the left. I am monitoring this for weeks now. I stopped bothering because it doesn't seem get worse and all my attempts fixing it did nothing exept slight phosphorus toxicity two weeks ago. Flowering seems to be pretty quick so far. Stretch started about a week after flip and then she stretched for about two more weeks. Curious if she will be done after 60 days of flowering. 09-03-2024 She decreased her water intake from 4l to about 2.5l per day in the last two days. Clear sign she is done stretching. She took the feeding well and shines in a bright lush green again.

08-31-2024 - 09-06-2024 09-05-2024 Got the second screen in today. Humidity dropped by about 10% after spreading everything out evenly. Should have done this way earlier because it was a hassle and could have been a lot easier if I had done in week 3 of flower directly after the stretch. The feedin in the last week was a tad bit much as she got a tiny tiny bit of tip burn. Added 250ml of Pre-Mix and 100ml would have done it I guess. Lessons learned. Scaling linear doesn't work as intended. Finally figured out why the airflow in the tent wasn't as good as in the past. There happens to be a mesh piece inside the light baffles. You can take them apart and remove it. It was completely dusted which reduced the air intake by about 80%. Humidity dropped from 70 to 50% after removing the mesh. 09-06-2024 The Jakyll and Hyde plant is no more. She has the same leaf colour over the complete canopy. Due to the air intakes not working properly especially on the right side there obiously wasn't enough air moving for the calcium to be disributed to the leafs properly. That cause the slightly yellow leaf colour on the right side of the plant, the increased humidity and her not taking higher light levels. What a great lesson in growing I got out of this grow. Fantastic. I am not even mad... pushing the ppf to 850-900 now. The recovery speed from stress of this cut is on a completly different level I am used to... she bounced back in a day... 09-07-2024 I am pretty happy how things are going right now. Humidity in the tent about 3-5% higher than my lung room which is the lowest deviation I can remember. Recalculate and remeasured the CalMag I have to apply and 1ml adds about 150ppm which I would consider ideal. Plant looks a lot less stressed. 09-10-2024 She is doing very well. Very slight phophorus excess but nothing serious just some leaf tips twisting. I might add the blumats in the ucoming week which I wanted to do weeks ago but with all the issues I just couldn't be arsed to do so.

09-07-2024 - 09-13-2024 09-12-2024 She looks perfectly healthy and stacks up nicely. We are at day 36 of flower and probably have another 5 weeks to go. I doubt that she will need another top dressing so I will only add some TNC MycorrHydro and Molasses every two weeks as I did in the past. 09-14-2024 Ordered a cheap usb-c microscope for my smart phone. Mounted to a microphone stand it produces fairly useable macros.

09-14-2024 - 09-20-2024 09-19-2024 She is hungry. Started to feed with Biobizz Grow, Bloom and Top Max again (2ml/l each). Had to support more branches as the buds are putting on more weight.

09-21-2024 - 09-27-2024 09-23-2024 Showing early signs of senescence so I lowered the PPFD from 850 to 650. 09-25-2024 She has reduced her water uptake from daily 4.5l to 2.5l over the course of a weeks time. Smell started slightly to change. Less sweet and more pungent. Buds are putting on volume so I had to support more branches. 09-27-2024 She is further reducing her water uptake. We are closing in.

09-28-2024 - 10-04-2024 09-28-2024 She is further reducing her water uptake. Down to 2 liters per day. Buds keep swelling. 10-02-2024 Recalibrated my Blumat Moisture Meter and discovered that it was off by a lot. The reason for my issues most likely were due to overwatering because of the meter malfunctioning. Not going to use the meter again in pots this small. I guess the roots pressure on the cone was so high that it sucked the water out of the meter. I refilled the meter and the next day it was off again. At least I figured it out... Trichomes look almost ready to harvest. Planning on cutting her down in the upcoming days.

Harvested on Day 67 of flower when she showed the first signs of amber trichomes. Moisture content of the main stem directly after cutting down was about 43% and top buds about 34%. Drying conditions aren't optimal so I guess it will take about 7-9 days. Dry weight and smoke report will follow. Dry weight at 58% humidty in the jars 263g. I am pretty pleased with the result. I guess with less fuck ups on my part the plant would have yielded even more. Already smells fantastic and a first test vape showed that this is a potent and long lasting strain. Directly after vaping the sativa genes give you a very cerebral high. After about half an hour the indica genes literally start slapping you in the face. Not an all day vape for me as it is too potent. But great for socializing with friends or chilling in nature or at home. No couch lock and no body load thanks to the early harvest time of 67 days of flower. Will add a flavor profile after the cure.
