1 seed didn't pop - blue dream. Will work with three plants and try to grow them big and strong. Intending to do manifold method. 1 blue dream stretched a bit in the first few days (out of town). Buried the stem a bit and will bury when transpant. Put the babies under 4bulb 2ft to give them more light. Thinking bout ordering new CFL lights, these are pretty old. Got new light meter. Enjoying
Planted a whide widow and it was popped literally a week after the others. Gave it the same amount of nutes, and it works because I'll likely just veg this one one week longer than the rest so nutrient wise it should be fine as long as we stick with the lower end of the heavy dosage. One plant still taller than the rest but i'm hoping to bury the stem soon when I transplant. No ph or other visible damage. Ordered new T5 fixture for the lower veg rack and replaced the old bulbs on the upper one. New one has pulleys with it so adjustabel. I think we're ready for transplant around this time next week and starting manifold training maybe that Friday!
Week 3 of nutes regimen for three plants, week 2 for one plant. White widow one week behind, but seems fine. Transplanted. All plants are well, did lots of research today and will push current blue dream one more week and manifold train these plants. I believe I can keep manifold training within 5-6 weeks
Been training the babies with manifold. Should have kept one candy kush and trained regular to compare to manifold candy kush. Note for next time. Didn't manifold white widow. She's a little behind and very moist. Moved plants to tent tonight. Lights kept around 20k lumens and will bring closer. Thinking of flipping the lights on Wednesday. It's clear blue dream works better with manifold becasue the leaves grow out further. Candy kush grows tight so it's harder to train.
Flipped lights on Tuesday night. Wednesday first full night of darkness. The Blue dream is still the most aggressive, but is weepy quite a bit. Wondered if maybe it got root bound becase it grew so quick? Maybe I wsn't keeping lights close enough. Moved lights to about 30k lumens at closest spot and it feels more like the distance I used to keep. The plants aren't exploding in heighth which is weird so not quite sure what to make of it. Hopefully brining lights closer will power the plants into growing tall. I'm fine if they still yield the same 10.5 oz as last time and dont grow, but it is weird they aren't getting tall yet. One week of 12/12 will be on Wednesday so we'lll see.
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
First time ever defoliated in flowering on the last day of week 3. Looked happy. White widow is on the upper left corner won't defoliate until next week. White widow is fully recovered no more wilting
Everyone looking great. Pulled lights back a little bit as plants were a little bleached. Everyone recovered from defoliating very well. Will definitely add a third week defoliation to the routine. White widow upper left hand corner, praying a little bit so pulled it back from the light by taking it off a stand. Will be gone for weeks 6 & 7 on vacation so there'll be a big difference in pictures .
Plants look great. Have been growing for five years and somehow I just realized I've been making a mistake for a long time. Somewhere along the line I picked up watering with 77 degree water. First time watering with 68 degree water. Excited to see results.
White widow is the slow grower, still a little prayer like but no way she's getting too much light. Not sure what's going on but she still look good.
Blue dream upper right hand corner.
Candy kush both up front.
Considering more light for the areas not directly under the bulb. Not sure what yet....thinking of ideas. open to suggestions.
Out on vacation for week 6. Had a friend take care. Ladies looking good and happy. White widow in the back left a little weird, but makes sense. She's been about a week behind everyone else and also probably started PK nutes a little early. Next grow back to four plants of the same kind. Too much work dealing with multiple strains in one tent. Manifolding was a huge success. Beautiful even colas. Next project: finding a light that distributes more light to the far side of the tent. There's just such a noticable difference that I know I'm losing out on yield. Considering the quantum boards. Open to suggestions.
likely harvesting next week. White widow a little behind so will let her go another week. Cloudy trichomes all over and on the calyxes. Would like to go maybe a week longer but need to harvest for a variety of reasons. One lesson I've learned from using this diary and watching pictures closely is how little light makes it over to the left side of the tent. Frustrating. After much research I think the 600 HPS light is really more effective for a 3x3 area not the 4x4 I have. That and there's been lots of advances in tech since I bought a light about 4 years ago with double ended fixtures and CMH. Currently looking at the Nanolux CMH 615 C as an upgrade. 2 bulbs, double the coverage, almost double the wattage, and about the same electricity cost. Hoping to have a more even canopy and better yields from that.
They look so healthy and vigorous 😍Will be growing regular fems soon again after some experiments with autos are done. I'm in love with your girls there 😊
You're lined up to have a plentiful harvest ! Keep up the great work , sending you're ladies lots of positive vibes so they finish in style !
Happy Yule
