First Grow Cookies Gelato Auto and Sweet Zz Auto

Week 1 of my first Grow has just passed and I have mixed feelings about my plants but maybe thats because I don’t really know what to expect. While the SweetZz seems to do very well i feel like all Cookies Gelato plants are performing poorly. From the very beginning there were several problems with the Gelato plants. They all have these light green stripes on their leaves and are way smaller than the other plants. Cookies Gelato 2 did loose a seed leaf early on and seems to have a problem building any leafs on that side somehow. I already googled alot but found nothing compareable to this. Cookies Gelato 3 has very stunned grow and has just build its first pair of leafs, but they look weird to me. For the first 3 days after sprouting i used a humidity dome. After that I put on a Ventilator blowing a wall of the tent so every plant is hit by a light breeze. I measured LUX in my tent and it seems sit around 6000 on top of my plants. I watered the SweetZz plants with 200ml of declorinated tap water every 2-3 days and the gelatos with around 50-100ml (because they are way smaller). I used bioDown from Biobizz to bring the ph to around 6,0-6,1. Since I am still very new to growing I would appreciate you guys giving me any tips and advice to hopefully get some yield of of those plants. Thank you.

In week 2 not much changed. The weather was very hot in the past week and its up to 29 degrece Celsius in my tent but the plants take the heat quite well. The Sweet Zz plants seem to have entered veg phase and are growing fast and strong. The Cookies Gelato plants are growing much slower but at least Cookies Gelato 1 seems to be making it to veg phase slowly. All Gelato plants have these light green stripes on the leaves and they are also weird shaped. I don’t know if its bad genetics or something I am doing wrong. On day 12 I decided to feed Sweet Zz 1 with 1ml of biobizz bioheaven and 2ml of biobizz root juice. I spectated the plant closely the following days and she seems to do fine. I am thinking about start feeding Sweet Zz 2 and Cookies Gelato 1 soon. On day 14 I decided to turn up the light in my tent to around 40% power and tried to measure LUX which now sits at around 17.000 LUX on top of my plants. I keep an eye on and changes which Night occur. I don’t know if i should top SweetZz 1 because i read mixed opinions about topping autoflowers. Maybe it would be smarter to start doing some LST. If anyone could give me some advice I would really appreciate it.

Today is the end of week 3. It was the most interesting week of my grow so far. I think all gelato plants entered veg phase by now, the Sweet Zz 2 is growing compact and bushy while Sweet Zz 1 is stretching like hell but is also developing some nice nodes. I decided to top the SweetZz 1 in the morning of day 15. I topped above the 3. node and it went amazing. It didnt seem to cause any stunt on the growth of my plant. On day 18 both of the SweetZz plants were fed with (another) dosis of BioBizz „BioHeaven“ and „Root juice“. On day 19 I decided to cut some fan leaves blocking light from the lower nodes on both SweetZz plants and Cookies Gelato 1. Finally on day 21 I began doing LST with Cookies Gelato 3. I am curiouse how Cookies Gelato 3 will develope over the next couple of days and definitly thinking about doing some LST with the other two Gelato plants aswell, maybe even topping them beforehand. As always I would be very interested in hearing some feedback from you guys about whats going well at the moment and what things I can improve on in the future. Thank you very much.

Today is day 28 of my grow. The past week of gardening has been real fun. I am really loving my new hobby so far. SweetZz 1 is definitly transitioning to flowering stageand SweetZz 2 seems to follow her big sister slowly. The Gelato plants are way into veg-phase and the growth sped up in comparison to the first few weeks. I started the week with some LST on Cookies Gelato 2. I also decided to increase the light intensity of my LED to around 50% and to start feeding all five plants with half of the recommended dosage from the BioBizz feeding shedule. I am watering every 3 days with 2l of water and I am feeding them every second watering. Over the week I did some defoliation on all plants when I felt that the leaves were blocking potential bud sites. While the SweetZz 1 was growing and stretching crazy this week (roundabout 55cm tall now) all other plants are only 20cm tall. So I decided to buy some buckets on day 27 bringing all canopys of my plants to the same level. During this process I repositioned my LED to sit 40cm above the canopys and increased the light intensity to 65%. I measured circa 35.000-40.000 LUX right above my plants. I don’t really know how far I should position my LED above the canopys of my plants and what the ideal light intensity would be at the moment, so if anybody could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. (I am growing under an Caluma force 320W LED if that helps) Thank you for reading and happy growing everybody.

Its the end of week 5 and I think its safe to say that all plants are atleast in preflower now. The Sweet Zz 1 is still ahead of the other plants and is slowly building her first budsites. Over the week i did some defoliation on all plants to get as many nodes exposed to the light as possible. I also did some more LST with Cookies Gelato 2&3 and decided to start doing some LST with Cookies Gelato 1 as well. On day 31 I repositioned my LED to hang 40cm above the canopy and increased the light intensity to 75% measuring roundabout 40.000 LUX right above my plants. On day 34 I noticed that some plants show signs of a deficiency. I then decided to feed my plants with 100% of the recommended feeding shedule from biobizz instead of the 50% I used before. I also ordered some CalMag online and will add some with my next watering. If anyone has an idea what my problem could be i would be very thankfull. I will include some photos in the end.

Today is day 42 and this week has been extremly hot and humid again. I think my plants suffered a bit under these conditions but my main concerns are that the deficiency signs i noticed last week are becoming more and more visible on all plants. Sweet Zz 1 is turning very yellowish and all other plants have these weird brown spots on some leaves.(see last weeks pictures) I added CalMag to every watering this week to hopefully combat some of the deficiencies but only time will tell if it works for me. Due to the fact that I only fed every second watering i feel like I am a little behind the feeding shedule at this point and therefore will start adding some more nutrients next week. I am thinking about feeding every watering for the next few weeks to see if something is changing. Over the week I did some minor defoliation on all plants and readjusted some of the training sticks.
