The plant is also very stable. Today I defoliated a bit and took away the lower shoots. Pistols have also been on display here for the last 3 days. The shoots grow very unevenly. This could also be due to the light exposure, although the Strawberry Gorilla has the same light exposure and grows evenly.

I'm thinking of starting with 5 liters, changing it every week for a new compote. And in the middle of the week just top up with a couple liters of pure osmosis water. Are you topping up the water during the week?

The question of root rot and hydroponics, when the plant is young you won’t have much of a problem, it’s when it becomes large you may. Peroxide will work, but it’s not an inoculant, so it is not as effective. I use Botanicare Hydroguard which is an inoculant, not too expensive, and eliminates the possibility before it ever has a chance to start. It’s just one of those things I prefer not to gamble with.
