Starting the last grow of the year with a THCv, Pink Mist, Lemon Skunk and Tangie. All from RQS. They all are germinated in Soil-Plugs (also from RQS). The Tangie seems kinda off. The seed-leaves seem conjoined with the stem. While the others already have their first small leaves, the Tangie is still sitting there with its seed leaves only. We will see if it recovers. Otherwise, I will try it with a new seed again.
@Smokwiri, I tested the ph of the soil with a ph-kit for groundsamples. It seemed a bit to high. I will try feeding her with slightly acidic water and watch her carefully. The buds at least seem to be alright for now...
Hm I just chopped a Tangie that was normal, but my current Sour Diesel seedling is also tri-symmetric :)
Good luck with your plant! Would be interested to know if you notice any differences in how a plant with this mutation has to be cared for compared to a regular one. I started feeding mine higher levels of nutrients and more light earlier than advised because hey, 1.5 times # of leaves leaves translates to 1.5x photon capture surface, thus 1.5x available energy and capacity for nutrient uptake, theoretically (I'm not a biologist, so maybe some of my assumptions are wrong).
@tangie, thank you for your comment. For now she stopped the tri-symmetry after the 2nd node. But it doesn't seem like she produces more biomass than the rest. So I will feed her like the rest for now.
Also, after the topping she look quit freaky (which I like c:)
