I took some cuttings to renew my motherplants. I'll start a new diary with these cuttings, althought I've not yet decided if I would flower them, or just use them as new motherplants. ๐
For the mother plants participating in this Tabtest, I am starting to see differences between the plants for the first time. ๐
The plant with the NEW Bioplantenvoeding.nl tablet apparently contains a lot of nitrogen. The new shoots of the plant are quite a bit darker green than the other two plants. I recently received a message from the producer that tests showed that the potassium content was a bit low. Apparently it does contain sufficient nitrogen. I will continue with this tab test until the cuttings have to be transplanted, because then I will get rid of the three plants due to a lack of space.
Left : old Healthy Start tablet (bioplantenvoeding.nl)
Middel : Original Bio Tabs
Right : new Healthy Start tablets (bioplantenvoeding.nl) ; not available yet
1 tab for each 5l pot. No liquid fertilizers
@RasendeRollo92, Thx, I'm very curieus too ๐.
In this diary you see 3 of the 9 mother plants that I want to keep during the winter. These mother plants will remain in the vegetative state for a long time. It is therefore primarily a test of how the plants will grow with the different tablets.
For the time being, the plants will use the fertilizers in the potting soil itself. In a few weeks we will know which of the tablets can provide the plants with nutrition for the longest time, in other words, which plant will get yellow leaves first.
If the new tablets from Bioplantenvoeding.nl are good, I will probably do a comparative test with BioTabs vs Healthy Start with flowering plants in the future;.
