Welcome fellow green thumbs!
Firstly, big thanks to Dutch Passion Seed Co. team for the sponsored seeds!
This is a second try with this same cultivar. Life happened during first run, so the plant got super stressed due to environmental fluctuations and transplants. Lessons learnt, let's see how the knowledge is applied on this grow.
To make it interesting, the seed is dropped right after cutdown of previous plant without disturbing the organic substrate and making use of the living biology and existing roots structure within. I'm sure there is enough available nutrition left, as the first plant was super small, will keep an eye and feed the herd of microbes as necessary.
10/05 - To give a boost, substrate fully saturated with tea:
5l water, 5g neem cake, 5g Dr. Earth, handul of worm castings, teaspoon of molasses. Brewed for 12 hours. (saturated weight 13kg)
Seed dropped in filtered water + 3 drops of 5% h2o2
10/06 - seed showing tip of tap root. Gently moved to final pot, pointing down, plastic dome to keep things humid.
Pot is handmade of HDPE shading mesh for good aeration and resistance to leaching / decomposition.
Lights on 2 x 10w bulbs 4000K, very far, dli 4. Light schedule programmed with smart plug for 18/6 hours.
Intake and outlet fans switched on constantly. Inner circulating fans in place but kept off for now.
