First week with diamond nectar and she is loving it. As I see the scrog overfill I regret not starting transition earlier!
I can tell that the supplements are supercharging her compared to last time. PPM is still low but it doesn't seem to be slowing her down.
The pump well the mini pump wasn't really delivering enough volume of water for 5 gal pot (will reuse it for chamber), had to resort to hand watering
I put together a wifi plug, submersible pump, various size tubes and connectors. Use app to turn on pump (set to low flow) for 2 mins to feed nute solution to the drippers.
So that should should be all set and leave now until it's weekly res clean.
Took cloans, but I will do an aggressive prune so might as well put them in a glass of water to see if they root.
Folliage is looking really good, stems are thick and strong. Got some knuckles on her, broke a few times over the weeks to help side branches fill out. But honestly no idea what the stem network is looking like in there because SO MANY LEAFS.😎
Plant was critically under watered in mid bloom, lower leaves crisp and even upper leaves beyond wilted to limp and not recovering.
So now I have no leaves, should I cut down early? Anything I can do to salvage? The bud is about 2 weeks early can I make butter or smt?
There is no saving this, chopp it and get what you can..
I have a question about your watering??
How often are you doing so?
How big is your container?
What is it filled with?
You would have to let this plant dry WAY OUT For a couple days to do this damage to it....
I think you possibly got “elephant foot” not so much a dryness issuse...?
@@@@@Boxgrower,
I also removed domes when I use household bulbs, but I found out doing so can produce ‘hot spots’ that may burn leaves.
Further, I used a lux meter and discovered, to my surprise, that the domes do not reduce the LUX at all! Save work and reduce the potential for hot spots - go as is out of the package. I’m vegging 5 new babies on 38w total, a mix of 6000K and 3500K. They are stretching slightly, as I like it, because I will flip to flower at only 4 weeks. I’ll introduce 125w blurple a few hours a day at week 3, then go with that at 11/13 for the rest of the grow.
Net result will be five colas delivering 1/8-1/4 each. That’s not much but I don’t need much. I’ve got enough residual cannabinoids in my system to last a lifetime.
Enjoy the process and your harvest!
@DigiDom, thanks! working on dialing it in but once it is it is going to make me more of a set and forget deal which is best for me since I'm terribly lazy (and the plants seem to be thanking me too)
Congrats on the upgrade! With the new lights, you'll see dramatic improvements with your bud development. 👍
When you increase your CO2 above normal ambient levels, your plants can utilize more/all of the light you give them.
Now you need to get some natural CO2 to supplement with..e.g. Exhale bags.
