2nd attempt

Canadian_Steelheader Well this will be my 2nd attempt at WW with just one plant. This time in CoCo Coir not Promix. I like the idea of having complete control over the nutrients with CoCo, but time will tell if I actually like it. This is a whole new territory. Atleast now I know what not to do with Ozone from my 1st grow. Using RO water now as well.

Canadian_Steelheader Well it’s been a rough ride with this WW girl, She was veging on the side for quite a while and not in the best of conditions. Transferred her to CoCo and things went terrible. pH was good and nutes were good, but her roots weren’t the best of shape. She wasn’t growing and all her stems and main branch were turning purple, I thought not again, I foliar sprayed for a few days with epsom salt which helped a little, but I decided to Put her back to soil. I nurtured her back to health and I was able to do a little fimming and she responded very nicely after that. She now has a few friends beside her in the tent, which is my grow 3 & 4. Two Purple Kush and a northern light. Hopefully if all goes well I’ll be flipping the switch in 3 or 4 weeks. The new additions just finished their 2nd week of veg. Wish me luck, I certainly need it !

Canadian_Steelheader Week 7 and she is doing nicely, did a little defoliation and LST. Waiting a few more weeks before switching to flower with 2 Purple Kush and 1 Northern Lights that have just finished week 3 of veg.

Canadian_Steelheader Day 56 and she is doing nicely. Have to wait a couple more weeks to let the other girls get a bit bigger before switching to flower. Any comments or suggestions?

Canadian_Steelheader Well end of week 9 and she is doing fine. Defoliated early in the week. Her last 3 feedings have been pH”d RO water only, will feed her some nutes this coming week before hopefully flipping to flower next weekend, if all goes well with her roommates. She’s been waiting awhile to go to flower, looking forward to see how she turns out ! She’s a clone from a clone and was a little runt that took forever to grow, I had transplant issues with her about 4 weeks ago, but she pulled through and looks very nice now. A lot of love and care has gone into this girl. Wish me luck ! Any comments or suggestions?

Canadian_Steelheader End of week 10, she is doing nicely, looking forward to the switch to 12 - 12 this coming Monday March 11. Gave her a feeding of nutes after her 4 last waterings and she enjoyed it. She is taking up a good portion of the tent, getting a little worried about crowding for flower. Tent is only 39” x 48” x 72” with 4 plants in there. Wish me luck 😎

Canadian_Steelheader Week 11, Day 5 of flower. This week went well, she is healthy and growing nicely. Only a water feeding this week with a drop of superthrive. She is starting to stretch for the lights and small white hairs are starting to show 😎. Having a humidity issue, but working on it, installed a bigger dehumidifier yesterday and rerouting the exhaust fan Tomorrow. Getting crowded in the tent with 4 plants. I will defoliate again in 2 weeks to help with air flow and humidity. Any suggestions or comments or concerns?

Canadian_Steelheader Week 12, Day 12 of Flower. All is going well, she is doing nicely, gave her a light defoliation and lollipop. Her last feeding was just Phed water with a drop of super thrive. She’s starting to stretch, currently 20” from the light and I can raise the light another 12” so it should be good for the remainder of the flowering. I did see a slight purpling in some stems so I’ll probably add a little more calimagic in the next feed. All comments and suggestions welcome.

Canadian_Steelheader Week 9, Day 63, Day 19 of Flower. Once again all is going well, she is doing nicely, but smaller compared to the Purple Kush and Northern Lights. After this coming week 4 of Flower I am going to switch to only KoolBloom 2-45-28 for 2 to 3 weeks at a 1/4 tsp/gallon. Any suggestions or comments?

Canadian_Steelheader End of week 4 and all is going well, had a slight calcium issue on a couple of leaves, but it was corrected and all is good again. This girl is responding well to the nutes, but my run-off is getting a little high, that should change when I cut out the Flora Micro and just feed calmag, Dnectar and KoolBoom for the next couple of weeks. Any comments or suggestions? Wish me luck.... just a few weeks to harvest now.

Canadian_Steelheader All is going well, the girls are looking good. Only providing Calmag and powder KoolBloom now. Buds are starting to thicken up and overall nice and healthy, raised her up a bit in-line with the other girls in the tent.r

Canadian_Steelheader Week 6, Day 41 of Flower and all is going well, a little crowded in there but she is coming along nicely. Using yo yos to support branches. Removed a couple of lower branches, only larf taking up energy, I included some trichome picks from them. Only a few more weeks to go to harvest, can’t wait.

Canadian_Steelheader All is going well, Week 7, Day 47 of Flower. She’s a little droopy in these pic’s, needed a feeding, which she received after the photo session. Cola’s are starting to fall into each other and tip over. I didn’t have enough yo-yos to go around all 4 plants. She still has a ways to go. Trichomes are looking good, but lots of clear still. Colas aren’t as dense as the other girls in the tent. She’s being pushed in the corner by her younger sisters.

Canadian_Steelheader All is going well, Week 8, Day 54 of Flower. Well I started the FLUSH, it took 13 gallons of pH adjusted water to bring her down from 1750ppm to 140ppm. Cola’s are falling into each other and tipping over. I didn’t have enough yo-yos to go around all 4 plants. Trichomes are looking a lot cloudier since last week with some ambers. Going to be a busy day this coming Friday, chop chop time. I’ve never trimmed before as this will be my first harvest, but definitely looking forward to it. I will say though, I will not do 4 plants together in this tent again, it’s just too crowded and definitely will effect the yield. I will try just one plant with a longer veg time with a lot of training for multiple colas with a scrog net.

Canadian_Steelheader Overall I was happy with this grow aside from being overcrowded. Definitely won’t grow 4 plants in this tent again. I believe the yield suffered because of the crowding. The overall quality of the buds was nice but could have been better with more space in the room. I should have waited a little longer to harvest and perhaps the 48hrs of darkness preharvest didn’t help.

Canadian_Steelheader Day 104, week 9, Day 61 Flower. Harvest Time......She was flushed with pH adjusted water for a week every two days. Her last 56Hrs were in total darkness and then she was chopped down. I found her to be a strain that was very easy to work with and enjoyed the entire grow. I probably should have let her go another week, but I couldn’t wait. I finally had a successful harvest. She is currently drying in the tent with her sisters. This was my first harvest and I heard it takes time to trim, but I had no idea it would take that long. Anyways take a look at the whole process. Sorry for so many pics. I’ll complete the harvest week as soon as the dry weight is complete. I also included pics of the root system.
