im skipping defoliation during the first 10 days of flower, then small defoliation steps every 48 hours. looking down the canopy and up the canopy.
i want to see what tops will surface through fan leaves during stretch.
1 leaf has a deficiency of something that i don't care about.
im running out of lighting gap. not sure i want to use or can use the height extension for the gorilla grow tent. i think the bud tastes like newspaper if the lights are too close.
@BarrieGrower, thanks. you have fun with yours. HST is more of a stativa that's grown to 4 feet and snapped over a net. In week 7 and 8 i'm snapping the colas that are too close to lights.
@fogcitymarathoner, I hear you, been there done that. My LST is like S&M, haha. Its all good, I am just enjoying the process and having fun. Everything else is gravy.

@BarrieGrower, I wanted 8 weeks of veg in these pots. Week 3 I had to start 3 feminized to compensate for my 3 out of 8 success rate with regular seeds. That resulted in the final pot at week 5.
I'm claiming I'm practicing HST because for a good 10 weeks I defoliate almost half the fan leaves. At week 10 veg I had to remove 30-40% of the mainlined branches. Some branches close to the light are snapped into a '7' shape and taped. I'm getting a head start trimming the buds while the plant is alive.
