Day 15: I’ve been watching small patches of damage forming on #1s leaves. I initially thought it might be some kind of tiny leaf miner but by looking at my other clones, which have more developed cases of what ever this is, I think it’s russet mites. Gave both plants (as well as all the clones) a spray with pyrol, so I suppose it doesn’t matter what type of creepy crawly it is because it should be dead now 😂
Day 16: I noticed a brown patch forming on #1, it’s also visible on the pic of day 15. Not sure what it is just yet, praying it’s not root rot 🤞🏼
Day 17: the brown patch on #1 was spreading fast so I decided to cut my losses along with the leaf.
Day 19: there are brown spots forming on all the lower leaves of #1. I spotted one of the little buggers that have been bugging my baby’s. It’s thrips. Gave all my plants a spray with Neem oil, I’m hoping it will help stop the spread of what ever that brown spot is, because I have a feeling it’s some kind of fungus or a virus caused by the thrips.
Day 21: moved #1 outside, I sadly don’t have any other growing space to put it, to avoid it contaminating my other plants. #2 has some brow spots on its lower leaves so I decided to remove them to avoid further spread. Sprayed all my plants with a mix of hydrogen peroxide and Neem oil.
@Njanne, yeah it will be interesting to see. If you get those seeds soon we might even harvest around the same time 😄 I’d love to see that diary, from what I’ve seen auto LSD (LSD-25, right?) gets amazing colors
Hope you can manage your issues with your plants.
I'm not quite sure what kind of problem you have (bugs or lack of nutrients).
I dont think that its a PH problem because you said it spreads slowly... Nevertheless good luck for the following grow!
Keep growing 👍🏻
@GrowBeforeHoe, yeah I’ve been thinking about changing nutrients, I have no clue what I’d change to though 😅 I’ve also been thinking of getting a ppm meter, which I think would remove some of the guess work
@BensBuds,
Yeah a Neem spray is always a nice option against bugs!
Maybe you should change up the nutrience which youre using... Hydroponic systems are always a bit difficult because the water have to has always the right amount of nutes in it.
@GrowBeforeHoe, thanks man. I gave them a Neem pray today just as lights went out, so if it’s bugs that should help. Although to be honest I think it’s a nutrient issues. I’ve noticed that it’s spreading slower since I started giving them nutes again.
Hey Ben! Looking good, could you take some pictures of your hydro setup?
Also, what's with the Hydrogen Peroxide? First time I've seen that used as a nutrient.
@dancingshrubbery, I’ve been a bit of a lazy stoner so it’ll probably only be fully complete a few day before the seedlings are big enough to be put in the set up
@dancingshrubbery, I’m in the process of setting the flowering room up, don’t really want to takes pics of it till it’s looking good 😂 hydrogen peroxide isn’t a nutrient, it kills bacteria. I use it to stop anything growing on the seed shell. It’s not a very well known trick that can save lives, especially in a hydro set up
hey @bensbuds I got a quick question for ya hydro setup m8, I am currently growing the same strain with the same type of setup..... my question is, How would you cure root rot? Ik hydrogen peroxide would help but would that be the only thing to add in order to cure root rot?
@LilBud, I don’t think there is a cure for root rot, hydrogen peroxide helps prevent its spread. Once you have root rot your only hope is to cut off the sections with rot, give your system a good clean, up your hydrogen peroxide and pray 😅 In a hydro system that shit is like the plague, so your only hope is to prevent it by using HP and to spot it early. Some signs are smelly water (mine stank like someone took a shit in my system) and a massive drop in pH.
Sorry for the long message and late reply mate. Good luck with your grow, I’ve just harvested and these baby’s are beautiful 🔥🍁
