Kaya Seeds Test Grow

Welcome to our first grow report on Grow Diaries. 😎 Kaya Seeds is a small business that we (my family and some experienced testers) opened after Cannabis legalisation in Germany in 2024. Our Instagram channel (see link above) is huge and very vibrant and active, but many followers and influencers gave us the tip to post our diaries on Grow Diaries as well. So here we go!!!!! We look forward to your feedback. It is Feb 1st 2025 and we are testing Kaya Seeds Germany strains. The seeds from Kaya Seeds come from private collections and some production (organic and handmade) in Germany!!!! Yes Germany!!!! After 100% germination, and a normal 5-week vegetation period, all five (5) test strains are finished the 3rd week of flowering. The large basement is working perfectly but I will need to replace the charcoal in the Primaklima filter before the next grow cycle. Since cannabis became legal in Germany 1. April 2024, we are allowed to grow 3x plants per adult, per household. We have 3x adults in our house, so we grow 9 plants each cycle. 6 of them are under the big 600W Lumatek LED, and the other 3 are under the 300W Lumatek LED. Perfect light exposure. Since we have an electric car.. all power for these lights and other electronics is 100% green and renewable (and expensive!!! 😩😩😩). So far our favorite strains of this grow is the GG#4 and Afghan Hash Plant. The GG#4 are extremely bushy and need constant defoliation (many small leaves) but the reward is amazing. After a serious stretch (30cm) after 12/12 switch, the numerous flowers just got seriously white with crystals. Need to use gloves because, as the name says, these are sticky as glue!!!! Our trimming scissors need to be cleaned after each defoliation. Each plant was topped. Afghan Hash Plant is insane. A bit wonderful indica Kush with fat leaves easy to defoliate and amazing aroma. Bigger flowers than all the other strains we have going. Easy to grow, big plant, with big flowers. Gelato and Jack Herer are growing nicely and can't wait to taste them. Very easy to grow. The Gelato has crazy purple branches and stem.. even though we are certainly not overwatering.
