Germination with a germination heat mat at 24°Celsius in small greenhouse.
Eazy Plug cubes saturated with water
Regular tap water
Room Temperature 24°
No light
After popping. the seeds quickly stretched, a bit too much to my liking.
For transplanting, I dug a hole that could take the Eazyplug cube.
The soil was amended with a little bit of Mycotrex.
In 5 days, the stem grew and gives a solid base now.
Hope they now grow fast to make some leaves and internodes before topping.
The side shoots have grown long enough to be trained.
I am trrying to get a more or less even canopy.
Luckily no preflower, so I think I got the timing right.
I looking to have the manifold shape consolidated befor flowering starts, so that I can get the most out of the stretch.
Did some defoliation and continued to train the branches.
On SG3 I fimmed the fimming... I bend the main stem now in order to a void big height differences between the plants.
Little pre-flowers showing at the internodes.
SG2 is a slow grower and definitely a more leafy phenotype.
SG3 recovered well from the failed fimming and is by now the tallest
SG2 did a nice stretch.
Starting a little fertilization, half dose of recommended nutrients
The 3 plants are doing ok...
but they shows symptoms of light stress. The symptoms happened in other grows of mine, though I never attributed it to light stress. Always started figuring out which deficiency was hitting.
Fortunately this time, there are two control grows going in on, and the sisters there, did not show the symptoms... And the only main difference between the setup is the height of the grow lights! Definitely had them hanging to close. 😶
Never stop learning they say, well I learned something, So thanks growmies R&Fam and J&D for running controls 👊
I hope the ladies will forgive me 😀
SG3 is slightly higher 55 cm. the other 2 about 45cm, wanted to lollipop them but decided not to add additional stress
The 3 plants are doing ok, They didn't suffer to much from the light burn. Upper leaves are still affected but the lower leaves do fine
There is a distinct and strong smell that starts develping.
