-Local store bought mixed soil 50%+ CoCo coir 20%+ perlite 20%+ worm casting 10%
(However, the soil was advertised the pH is balanced, when tested it first time, it was 4.5, 5). Layered clayballs underneath 2 inches and top 1 inch.
-Added Dolmite 1.5 tbsp + Gypsum 0.5 tbs
-Southeast Asian Country*, Rooftop* so the sun light and the heat is real.
-Covered shaded clothes but still the temp reaches up to 35C.
-Directly planted the seed into the 7gal pot.
---
Day 1: It sprouted, on 11th Feb.
Day 5: Found out pH was dropped to 3.5,4.5. But when i test the run over it said 5.0. I made an egg shell tea for it to drop pH down. Also found out the soil fertility shows 3mS/cm.
Day 6: pH drops i think after testing several spots with different dept lvl.
-Due to having high fertility in soil and pH lvl, starting to water deeply and more frequently during morning and noon.
Day 7: ph lvl rises gradually i guess. If it actually does, it is pretty awesome as i have to give it some extra nutes in a other than only that it has from the soil.
Day 8: Found like one or two of black spots on the leaf. A friend just wiped it off with finger.
Day 9: Found some white dots which i think are spidermites. Neem oil was so hard to find here like every shop was out of stock.
-found one though but it is neem oil and tobacco oil mixed one.
Day 10: Neem mixed was sprayed around 7pm. Like 5ml was mixed with 700ml of water and sprayed a few to test the reaction of the plant first.
Day 11: Seems white dots spread to the other leaves as well. Sprayed neem mix one more time at 7am as the plant seems fine with tabacco.
Sprayed again at 5:30 pm.
Day 12: (7:00 am) The result is not satisfactory despite it is not getting worse. So i increased the dosage like 7ml and now also added a drop of shower cream in the mix(500ml Water). Sprayed only a few just enough to cover the whole plant including the underneath of the leaves to test how the plant react first.
Hang on baby! Daddy is healing u!
Day 12 (12pm): Found 3 little flying insects enjoying my leaves, maybe the mix was not that concentrated enough. The product didnt describe the dosage properly too. The description be like mix the oil for 1 full horsehead spoon(local made up scale which i never heard of) for 1L of water, like i would know, lmao, so i assumed it as 1Tbsp. However, the spray was weak apparently, so i doubled the dosage now and will apply the mix at 6 pm.
Day 13(7am): Sprayed one more time. Topped a pinch of Gaia Green All Purpose(4-4-4) to see how she responds to the nute in the soil shes growing in.
(6pm): Seems improved. So i would stick it for like a day or two until they all are washed off.
Day 14(7am): Seems effective. The plant is recovering well too. Probably itd be the right time to feed the nute after it is fully recovered like by the end of week 3.
(7pm): the soil ph lvl is decreased like 4.5,4.9. It rained yesterday, probably my friend forgot to move the plant into a shelter.
Day 15(7am)- Prepared 2 tbsps of dolmite lime and mixed it with an inch deep of top layer of soil and watered abundant.
The plant seems out of pest so i stopped spraying neem oil and i prepared an aloe vera mix with 1L water while adding a gram of Epsom Salt. The electricity in my country is scheduled(yeh, so sad) so i couldnt use my blender and prepare the mix for the morning in time.
Day 15(6pm)- The spray sprayed. Hopefully it helps the plant recovered.
***SADLY, i will not continue this diary anymore as it is not under my administration anymore. Will make another diary soon when my own growing kits are arrived!!!***
