Seeds were soaked in a glass of water for 24 hours until the tip of the radicle came out. The objects in the picture are to prevent birds from finding and eating the seeds, it is a red solo cup with the bottom cut off and shade cloth stapled to it. The stick is to hold the cup on the soil so it doesn't blow away in the wind.
Plants are doing well and are about 1.5 inches in height. Soil is Fox Farm Ocean Harvest so no nutrients being used. One of the White Widow Auto seeds failed so down to 1 of each variety growing. Water applied in the early morning before the sun comes up. Birds have left the ladies alone so far, fingers crossed.
This last week not much has changed from the previous week. There is a new set of leaves that have formed on all three. Nutrient is the same, not adding any nutrients, just relying on what the soil from Fox Farm Ocean Harvest provides. Hours of light is increasing as the spring season continues.
