Akitec - Grow it!

We started our next grow with germinating 3x Royal Gorilla Auromatic from Royal Queen Seeds in gordan delta blocks. Normally used for hydroponic systems but the experince showed US there are many advantages especially for automatic seeds. After a few days we will transplate the Block in the Pots. So we will stretch de ladys a bit in early stage, set it deeper in and we will get faster stronger roots. Then we will start using Root Stimu from Advanced Hydroponics to Support the root building. Starting to get the lady’s big. It seems like they already made it trough the first steps. Now we will focus on root building, stretching her a bit and later at aprox. 10-20cm we will install the scrog net and start training. It looks like one is 1-2 days ahead but it’s okey. We will first use our other nutrients if the plants will show us some need. After the rooting phase it will go now a bit faster in Progresse like the past telled.

This week will will focus on developing our plants to reach the scrog net. We already cut some old and tiny leaves of to provide the perfect usage of nutrients. It’s the first week we use a bit of nutrients. It looks like it was time so wie use about 40% of our nutrient plan per liter. The oldest lady got actually 5cm to go for the net. The other two gorillas are building up aswell like Seen on the photos. We reduced the air night temperature a lot. It may slow down the process a bit for the first few days but we are sure it makes your plants much stronger and more resist. Already got some big leaves (15cm). Actually we think they are needed but we are looking for an early trim of them because they will use a lot of Energie.

First Lady reached the net at day 21. Each 3-4 Days we cut off the big leaves to provide the branches to receive as much light as possible. Slowly we upper the nutrients even with an eye on the plants reaction. There is nothing worse than a week loss by an 80 day cycle because of mistakes. Make sure you don’t cut to many big leaves off because the plant need some to get Energie. No leaves no grow. You have to try out how the plant react. If she slows down growing maybe it was to much. That’s also a reason why we like growing so much. Nearly infinity ways and you will never know anything about it. On the pictures may the plants look a bit curved. Just because of LST with an fan to make the branches stronger before start main training. Edit end of week: Actually we are training one of the lady’s with the net. The other two will reach it soon too but they are a bit more tiny (2 days behind). Doing well by cutting off lower branches and we are removing leaves daily to provide a better light delivery. Actually they prepare for flower so next week we will start the first week of flower only 30 Days after sproud. The Guys from RQS tould me aprox 80-90 days from sproud to harvest. This mean we will go for an 50+ Day flower period = apro. 65% of her lifetime. We had just a little issues but nothing heavy. Actually the look a bit overwatered because we upper the daily level near 1 Liter per plant wich is maybe actually a bit to much. Going with our full nutrient seit like shown. Going for another Veg week here because there are already predlower pistls but there we have a few days to go before the magic starts. So what’s to say...we are in day 30 for the oldest lady and about day 28 on the younger two. The older gorilla lady is enjoying a nice LST by bending down the branches whenever they wanna ein away. We also cut of some big and under leaves daily. This is very important if you are going for scrog grow. Your goal is to hold all the plants on an 120x120cm place at about 30cm tall. So all of the bushy leaves will be there so if you don’t cut off enough (but never to much) I will have some big issues earlier u think. It looks like the younger two will stay a bit more compact. It’s a bit harder to make he desicion with lower branches you remove. It’s like you have to choose witch bud will only be an popcorn bud at the end or some bigger. It looks like we have an good point of nutrients at the moment and we are watering once a day actually. using an fan to stimulate the branches to get stronger. There is no need because we have the net support but bigger trees goes with bigger fruits. Looking forward to see ya in flower week🙏

Official start of flower period. U can see on the photos the lady in the front is evolving a bit better and faster. The other 2 lady’s are not that strong at the moment. Maybe it’s because we installed the two air-Potts a bit wrong. For the next time we will top the lady’s by using scrog because with the soft net we use (secret Jardin 80x80) it’s hard to hold all branches down. But like you see it works well. This is our first scrog grow but we are going like planned. Most mistakes where made by stop training when flower starts. If you stop here you will get no benefits from the scrog, because if the upper buds raise now the buds the lower one will also get no light so it’s like you trained for nothing. Maybe in future we will Show you some examples of how we force her to stay down and build more and more and even more tops. General Information: Day 42 @ May 21th Ladys and gentleman welcome to week 7 for our 3 Gorilla Lady’s. We did it! A few month ago I heard first time from „super cropping“. Like maybe the most of us i thought: „wtf are you guys doing!!!“ but there are some amazing mirror grows this technique leads into a massive yield push. So what should I say, we started to crop some of the runners because there will be also no other way to keep them down. On two pictures you can see the place we cropped. One is the actually „top“ with 6 future tops on. And one a higher branch there was no other way. Because he other two stayed tinier it’s hard to prevent light support. Daily we cut off a high amount of leaves trying to hold the balance for the plant. Today we also trimmed some low branches from the smaller ones because we think they will only be popcorn buds and now it’s more important to push all the Energie to the tops.
