About seven days from seed. This was a gift, somewhat owed. It randomly took two weeks to pop, not in my setup, and it was a total surprise it was alive. So I will receive it and hope to do well by it. I will repot soon. Nice long veg. upcoming.

About 13 days from seed. I came back from a long absence and clumsily knocked this one over, spilling the contents and bending the stem. I had to do an emergency repot and prop up the plant. I’m confident it will be fine with time. Dumb mistake. I just used sunshine soil 4, myka microculture, and worm castings when I repotted.

20 days from seed. The damage has been healed and I removed the supports. This plant has made big gains and looks healthy. I’m excited to see it take off, and eventually I will repot. Just vegging for now.

27 days from seed. This plant desperately needs to be repotted ASAP! The primary driver is that I have been without soil. I should be able to make that purchase today, so a repot should happen today. Otherwise, this thing is growing like crazy. First task will be to perform some LST and bend that stem.

Day 34 from seed. I transplanted to a larger container using VPW20 soil, blood and bone meal, sheep manure compost, worm castings, some pulverized egg shells and used coffee grinds. A bit overcooked with nitrogen, but nothing it can’t recover from. Nice LST going on.

Day 41 from seed. The nitrogen excess has since subsided with plenty of water. The leaves are clearing up. I have selectively defoliated/pruned. This plant is starting to stiffen and take shape. I needed to have reenforced the stem a bit more as it has a bit of a lean, but I have splayed all the branches and really starfished it. It has about 6 weeks to really formalize crowns until I move it to flower.

Day 48 from seed. This plant is really hitting its stride and producing fat, green leaves. I will look to give some liquid plant food soon. In between measuring and picture taking I knocked this one and removed the main stem tie. This is to say I retied it and in the process snapped, and replaced the stem support. I didn’t really have anything on hand, and although not a dire rush, just did an amateur job retying and replacing supports. My analysis, I tied it too far and its on a giant slant. I’ve had this before, but very disappointed given the good support and tie job I had going. Overall, the plant still needs to adjust to my tinkering, so you get a side shot in most pictures. But the splaying has worked and it has multiple, large tops. About five more weeks of veg. to go.

Day 55 from seed. Everything seems to be going well. It is vigorously growing so I have to limit it by topping branches. I am trying to even out the canopy. Earlier in the week I fed 24-8-16 Miracle Grow All Purpose plant food with a dip of blackstrap molasses. Four weeks until this plant moves to flower.

Day 62 from seed. Three weeks until this plant will be moved into flower. Lots of nice growth and continual topping. I will probably trim the brush a little bit before the move so look for that in the coming weeks. Everything is good!

Day 68 from seed. Everything is looking good. With the graduation of one of my plants to the flowering tent, this baby becomes the big boss. Just water lately, and I will soon start transitioning the food to flower in a couple weeks. Not much time left in the countdown. Continuous topping to maintain height.

Day 78 from seed. This is the last entry in the vegetative state. In fact, the plant has been in the flowering tent for a day or two, I cheated out of convenience. This is its new environment, not my veg. tent. I have started transitioning food and applied 18-18-21 Miracle Grow Tomato food with a dip of Earth Alive Blue Alga and blackstrap molasses. This plant is already too big. CBDutch Treat has insane growth genetics and literally breaks LST ties. Ahh well, great problem to have. Next entry is after a week of flower.

Say 82 from seed. One week of flowering complete, eight weeks to go. This plant is almost touching the lights. It was already too big, and then stretched more than i anticipated. Be warned: CBDutch Treat is a major grower. We shall see how damaging a LED grow light is to a mature plant. I’ve had light damage on young plants, but I’ve never had issue with flowering plants. Stay tuned.

Day 89 from seed. Two weeks of flowering complete, seven to go. How close can it get? I assume the bud crown will be past my main LED before the end. We shall see if it causes any damage or bleaching. Otherwise the plant is looking beastly. Its a serious tent hog, borderline problem. There is a limit to how big the plant gets before it becomes inconvenient. Anyhow, it has gotten its last 18-18-21 Miracle Grow Tomato plant food with dip of Earth Alive Big Blue Alga and blackstrap molasses. Next time will be a different food with less nitrogen.

96 days from seed. Three weeks of flowering complete, six to go. Like my outdoor CBDutch Treat, this suffered damaging news! Albeit, different news - the previously reported branch that was basically touching the light suffered light damage (first picture). The leaves were dying and it was clear the LED was burning it. I had to decide between it taking light damage but not severing the branch, or sustaining cut damage and severing the branch. I ultimately removed the branch and accepted cut damage. I suspect thats partially why some of the branches are a bit droopy. My previous experience growing also produced droopy vegetation. I recently fed 2-7-7 Shultz Cactus plant food with a dip of Earth Alive Big Blue Alga and blackstrap molasses. My plants are way too big... its a frickin’ jungle!

Day 104 from seed. Four weeks of flower complete, five to go. The giant plants with massive branches are hard to handle indoors. They just aren’t going to be as strong as outdoors unless you have a fan, which I do in the veg. tent. I’ll admit my flowering tent fan is tiny and just meant for air flow. This plant was basically slumped over from the weight of the buds. I have had to literally tie it to the frame of the tent to keep it upright, as well as tying tightly around all the branches making a bouquet of bud. The last two pictures are trying to show the interior of my tent, but is essentially just two plants blocking the view. Its super crowded and hard to snap pictures and work. I had to trim some branches just to get inside and do this update. Apologies all around with the poor visuals.

Day 110 from seed. Five weeks of flowering complete, four weeks to go. Everything is looking great, these buds are massive! I recently fed 0-10-10 Alaskan Morbloom with a popsicle stick dip of Earth Alive Big Blue Alga and blackstrap molasses. Tying the bouquet to the frame of the tent has worked and kept the buds somewhat upright.

Day 117 from seed. Six weeks of flowering complete, three to go. It should be noted that I have seen 7-9 weeks projected, but my really nice CBDutch Treat grow was 9 weeks. When I built my current setup I built two tents, one that is 6’x4’ and one that is 4’x4’. The available electrical hardware, and timer situation, and my thought process on working with clones made me choose the larger tent for veg. Since then, I realize clones need much less light, the rest of the tent has sat empty, and I’ve been heating my larger tent with two sets of CFLs. But now I’ve upgraded my timer and power bar, and have flexibility, ... I’ve switched my two tents. The 6’X4’ tent is now my flowering tent, and my 4’x4’ is now my veg. tent. I have moved Widow over to the new home. There is the main LED standard to both tents, four tube CFLs (2 warm, 2 cool spectrum), and the six yellow spectrum LED lightbulbs. The last two pictures attempt to show the main four from the previous flowering tent. Another note to make is my oscillating fan broke so at the moment there is no circulation other than the outtake fan. The thermometer is currently under the canopy so the reading is a bit off. The buds are massive and smell of peach. So large the plant is slumped. I had to tie it in the previous tent, it hasn’t changed in the new one. The biggest crowns are horizontal and up against the side. Thankfully my conditions are generally dry. It gets its last plant food tomorrow, then clear sailing.

Day 124 from seed. Seven weeks of flowering, two weeks to go. Just water being applied. Nice massive buds, thankfully the tent frame is keeping the plant upright. Not as much frost as other plants, but the smell is very strong of peaches. For those keeping track I broke my other fan, but quickly replaced it. I had an extra Costco fan that my family wasn’t using, which I’ve placed on its side on the highest setting. The air is really circulating well in tent and I believe I am getting more accurate readings.

Day 131 from seed. Eight weeks of flowering complete, one week to go. I did some backtracking and the official Crop King projection is 9 weeks. I thought I saw some 7-9 projections and was considering chopping it this weekend. I held off and I’m glad a did - the bud are looking really good. I’ll be excited for one last week of development. Just water of course. **** EDIT: picture 10/13 You see it? Mold. For F*%# sake! This is why I have to have smaller plants. The humidity has already dropped in the room since taking CBD out. Darkness, unexpected 8 week chop tomorrow night. I’ll point out I recently had mold on an outdoor CBDutch Treat. This strain is going down hill fast imo. *****

Not much to add other than I highly recommend a really good dry for a plant that had mold. I didn’t mess around and cut everything up. Maybe a bit of an overreaction in week 19 in hindsight, but still surprising! This validates observing all the plants closely every day. Good thing I caught it. I cut at 8 weeks of flower by the way.
