I was verry happy to see this girl sprout. She seems to follow the sun through out the day. She was extremely small to what I am used to. But after a few days she seems stronger. She was a bit discolored with yellow which seems to diminish over time.
She is looking good. A bit on the yellow side. But she seems to be growing strong. It is the first strain I have seen with such broad beautiful leaves I think she is going to look beautiful.
We had a few cold fronts where growth was slow but she picked up where she left off when the weather got a little bit warmer. She was growing and developing quite well in the warmer weather. She is growing more nodes and leaves. I am starting training on her a bit more gentle but still quite aggressive trying to expose the nodes to more sunlight and letting auxins flow to lower nodes. I have noticed that with autoflowers you need to train quickly before the plant gets too stiff and hard to train properly. Overall I am very happy with the grow till date.
She is growing and has showed some pre flowers. Trying to attempt so LST training to get some more bud sites to grow new growth. Very happy with progress thus far.
Weather is getting warmer and she seems to respond well. She also started flowering and I am still attempting to learn LST to increase bud sites. I had some hiccups where they were overwatered with wrong PH water. It did affect growth a little.
I accidentally broke off a little node 😬. Started training more extensively so more bud sites are exposed. She seems to be growing well. She is definitely getting larger. Also trimmed some leaves that blocked light to some bud sites. She already has a feint smell and started growing some beautiful flowers. I am very happy thus far with progress.
This week I did not really do much except feed her some nutrient solution every now and then. She has a feint smell and is definitely growing bigger. Buds and new branches are starting to grow upwards.
Stopped with LST but had to trim some leaves to expose the buds to more light. I defoliated also where leaves were extremely compact and touched together and looked deformed (wrapped). There should now be ample exposure to light and air. She is definitely growing very fast and suspect it is the hotter weather we are experiencing. She has a slight pungent odour, a stinky smell. She is also using up more nutrient and water than usual.
She only received PH water this week. I think I migh have totally over fertilized her and she stopped stretching. I am not sure what else to do but let her finnish and see what happens.
Fed her nutrients and only watered thereafter. She is starting to smell a bit funky. Growing at a steady pace. Definitely overdid the training again. And I think I started feeding her bloom nutrients too soon.
Managed to royaly screw up by overdoing everything with her. Too much nutes too early, too much water and planted too early. Will see what yield I can get but I guess for a while I will have to be very frugal with whatever this plant will yield. 😪
Otherwise she looks very healthy and she seems to be growing quite well.
She has some brown spots on her leaves which I guess is some sort calcium and magnesium deficiency. I will add some extra Calcium Magnesium supplement next feeding.
Otherwise she is growing quite vigorously.
Ok, last week I kind of just flushed with PH water. This week I fed the plant nutrient until it flowed out the bottom. I will now only water until she is thoroughly dry which seems to be every second day and only water with PH water until next week.
She seems to be growing strong. I have some isolated leaves which seems to have this small little aphids or bugs which I will remove until I figure out what to do with them. Will see if the nutes will fix the brown spots on the leaves.
She creeped up on me I thought she had a week or two to go. But upon inspection there were quite a few amber trichomes started to show all over. So I had to chop her in a hurry.
Made some mistakes, definitely learned not to overdo everything. This plant ended up extremely weird looking. I gave her the wrong nutes too early and went overboard trying my hand at training. She actually yielded more than I expected and the buds feel quite dense and spongy.
This is my first first taste of a Dutch Passion strain or any strain that is not from Africa or African hybrid. It was definitely a good high with the small sample I tested.
I definitely feel extremely relaxed and my mood is definitely enhanced and uplifted but also had quite some energy for a workout so it is weird to describe the high.
All in all it wasn't quite the success I hoped for but I neither regard the grow as a failure I am happy with the results but realize there is much room for improvement.
😀👊
