Greeting, the day of the harvest has arrived.
The plants are up to 58 days of flowering for a life cycle of 118 days (60 growth of 58 flowering )
Harvested there is already almost 3 weeks the head is already dry because of the heat it makes.
At the harvest level I am rather satisfied with the 57G result on a single plant that had begun to grow under a 35W lamp (see week 1 to 4)
Especially that currently being normally in winters in the southern hemisphere the buds are not well inflated I think.
I'm waiting for the smok test I come back a little later.
You could probably let that go for another 2-3 weeks by the looks of it (if conditions stay good), though it is a bit difficult to say, depends on preference, etc.
Looks good though, still very green (which I often believe to be a sign of health, as purpling plants often have issues), mine is darkening quite a bit now (going into summer) and almost done too, but younger than yours. I'm wondering if I do a staggered harvest if I could reveg it to an extent, coz mine is tiny and conditions are very good for vegging now.
@@Ssomeguy,
Hi friend. thank you for your advice.
I think actually leave a few more days today its 55 days.
I would see a harvest around 65 days until I just water in clear water without fertilizer.
My Black D.O.G doesn't look like yours...mine basically started flowering after 4 weeks...which was bizarre.
Anyway, yours is looking pretty good, best of luck.
Congrats!
My Black D.O.G is at the twilight stage. I'm hoping it can reveg to some extent so I'll try consider that when harvesting it soon.
I gotta say, the winter was fairly temperate in this part of the southern hemisphere (~24 degrees south), though very dry but good growing conditions other than the low light which is obviously a fairly significant thing for an outdoor grower. Almost ideal for some kinds of indicas, though I would probably try to boost light with reflective stuff and maybe use some coconut water.
@adhitya,
Well I have to tell you, I KNOW I grew that Black D.O.G terribly. The coconut water in my case would be for growth regulators to make the plants stretch a bit (could be useful for indicas in winter), though have to be careful with how much you use and consider what your soil typically has (in my case it had almost the opposite of coconut water, due to the very high ash/char/carb content which promotes flowering). Haven't tried it yet though, very low budget.
Main problems I had in winter was ambient light (which is why I would add more reflective stuff) and extremely low humidity (about 20% every day for almost 6 months), both those factors keep the plants quite short, though I had no issues getting bulky/dense buds.
@@Ssomeguy,
Hi friend, good we are not very far then, I am (~ 21 degrees south).
Even here being in the winter it is very hot (34 ° in the sun) but the sun does not stay long, by day there can be a maximum of 10 hours of sun, and yes you're right the lack of sun does that buds do not grow not good.
Coconut water? Interested are you already trying yourself? because here I am full.
I just take a look at your Blakc D.O.G.
Well our Black D.O.G is proving quite popular on the grow diary platform 👍
That's what we like to see 🤗
Is this grow indoors or out my friend?
The pictures look outdoor but your diary say indoor?
Which ever it maybe things are looking good and we will be following along with great interest from Humboldt County👍
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
@adhitya, Thanks for the added info mate 👍
Vegged indoor and flowered outdoors 😏
Best of both world's 🤗
Keep the outdoor updates coming buddy 👍
With love from Humboldt County✌️
Kind regards
Team-HSO...
@Humboldt_Seed_Organisation,
Salutation HSO, first of all thank you for the interest you have in my grow.
To answer your question, the growth was done inside and for the flowering I pass the plants outside. At home I am lucky to have a good climate all year round.
I recently discovered the history of HSO and I must say that I am fascinated. I'm still planning on making another variety of HSO.
Sincerely Vee.
@OutKast,
Hi OutKast, Yes indeed the plants are blooming outdoors. but they had a growth inside, anyway thank you;)
I will make a passage on your diaries.
We would agree with your harvest day my friend 👍
Another 10 maybe 12 day's then it's harvest time for our Black D.O.G 🤗
Not long now mate 😎
With love from Humboldt County ✌️
Kind regards
