Here we have a Purple Haze that has been a little slow coming up due to someone watering with some really acidic water. Issue is corrected and the first set of leaves are looking good but as can be seen in pictures the first bean leaves are very damaged. She been under a dome for two days and might get the dome for another day but looks like she will make it. No roots in to the water yet, but should be there by next week. Just a little nutes in the water and Ph balanced for when the roots do make it to the water.

Starting to take off this week. Hopefully she will grow up a little more this week. She is barely out of the top of the rooter. This week will we just watch and see how she grows, make a plan for the next week. Ph is stable and we have some really nice looking roots now so hopefully we will see a growth explosion. End of the week 8/22 She is off to the races. Can't really tell as she is SO short still but nice and wide. On 8/20 in pruned up to the 3rd node. Today 8/22 I topped her to have 3 nodes, maybe I will take off the bottom node next week to flux her as she has some very close spacing. Looking for her to get wider and taller this next week so raised the light a little after topping.

It's been a good week for purple haze, she is still really short, but fully recovered from the topping and ready flip to 12/12 next week. Ph has been stable at 6.2, going to increase the feed a little this week to be ready for the switch to flowering.

I asked her to stretch a bit and she sure did it. Really filling out, might need a little defoliation this week. She has flipped to 12/12 as of 8/30 we should see some flowers in a week or so, so we will add a little more bloom into the mix. As I think she is ready to stretch a ton more I'll keep the micro and gro at a decent rate too. Ph is stable and the roots while very stained are looking good. Should be a nice plant.

Wow this week went by fast. Right at the beginning of the week we took 6 leaves from the center to open that area for lower flowers to grow in. Roots while I didn't grab a picture yet look good, still plenty of them trying to grow up the sides of the bucket. Ph is pretty stable here, so we continue to feed and water as normal. I have also turned up the air pump to max this week and she seems to really like that extra water movement. 9/10 all that space in the middle is full again. Less than 30 hours between the pictures on 8th and 10th. Looking like I might have to tie her down some, I might want to open the middle just a little more to make the most of the space.

9/15 nothing bad to report. I've been having to trim her every few days to keep from getting too over grown. Put on about 5 inches from last week. Ph is pretty stable now in this bucket, going to increase the bloom food this week and move the light up a little more to promote upward growth. I had noticed the air bubbles were getting a little weak this week, so I replaced her air pump (diagram popped on one side of old pump). Looks like more bubbles than ever. She also got a new light. Now sharing a Mars hydro with all the other plants. She suffers the most from a reeducation in light, about 10% less light at this height. Let's see how going from a 2000w led for this plant to 2000w shared among all the plants works out. Based on my light meter I'm getting more light output all three of my old panels with this dual panel light. being 39"x 10" really fits the closet space perfect if not a bit big for the space. Temps are way down, air condition is taking a breather, and the reservoir temps are 3 degrees cooler this evening. 9/17 she really seems to like this new light. Good growth over the last couple of days.

9/28 ok a day early for a new week but that's ok. She is big enough to call a week older. Got a big pruning mid week last week and has already filled back in. Water use is way up and Ph under control. Turns out my use of a 3 year old bottle of Ph up is probably the issue with unstable Ph. This week we will do another round of defoliation and leave it be till I run another round of pruning, but all the lower growth I just pruned was developed pretty nice just not able to support itself at the end of the grow. I think I need to add something of a ladice to the bucket for the roots be able to branch out over the whole surface of the water. Cleaned the air stones and of course mixed things up so my PPM is reading higher than expected at the moment, but that will get better in a few hours. Still running the same bucket of water (well it has been completely cycled a few times by now due to evap, and use), but no clean out yet. Staring the think out how to flush at the end as this box is way too heavy to move with a top heavy plant. Flush before harvest will be in place, I will drain all the water that I can with my pump and cups. Then add back 3 gallons and repeat till output is at least 1000ppm less than started or 400ppm. Then we drain that and final flush with a few gallon of RO water and treate with florakleen.
