Hi!
The big plant grows almost in front of the eyes and takes most half of the boxing. The hairs appeared in abutting leaves to the stem, I didn’t notice the forming cones at the tops. Height of the big plant is 58cm. The little plant has progressed in growth significantly. Unfortunately, the big plant has already begun to obscure the little. So I need to do something wise with additional lighting using ESL. I raised the lamp higher on 15cm at the past week. 1100-1200 is ppm of the big plant, 850/900 is ppm of the small. Ph is 5.5-5.65.
Lamps' ventilation is independent, it excludes the motion of odor from the box bypassing the filter.
Today I inspected cooltube and wiped the outside of it from the Biobad’s salts (they appeared during spraying). I discovered th dust inside the cooltube which blocks light. I had to disassembled and carefully wipe cooltube inside. To stop appearing a dust in cooltube I hung up a piece of gauze (on the passive blowing in).
By the way, dear guru, I’ve the question! Two air channels are not used, and more specifically, 275 liters per hour. The pump has 4 channels, 2 channel for each tank. If I’ll use 4 channel for tank working volume of 18 liters, will plant feel ok?
This method is good for soil, because there is remains of nitrogen in the soils as a rule. And you will have nitrogen from the leaves and and stems, all will turn yellow all at once. Give nitrogen for 3 days. It’ll absent in the solution only some last days. do not rush, read more about DWC 😊
Algae were due to solution temperature. Know Cannabis grows cool at a temperature of 18-20 degrees. If the temperature is lower, it will die, if the temperature is higher, it will stop growing. 26 is ass, drain the water.
When you make photo under HPS set “filament lamp” in the camera and hold a blank sheet of A4 under the lamp (light will be scattered). The lamp gives much light and makes the light spot. It’s better to do photo without HPS, the best option is under fluorescent light with the flash. Experiment 😉
Don’t play with pH. It may be fatal at this growth phase. If plants eat a lot – give them more😏
Today ph is 5.3, ppm is 860. I added 1l of water (pH 7) and 10ml of Flora Nova Bloom. At the result pH is 5.22 and ppm is 1240. Flora Nova is very acidic at the first hour after mixing solution, pH decreases on 1-1.5 , but some times after it stabilizes. Satta looks normal after ph fluctuations.😋
You can manicure yellowed leaves, that obstruct the light. And reduce the EU to 1 in two weeks before the harvest. So it will be with gain of weight. Everything is ok. slight yellowing is not terrible 😊
Stop to spray at the second half of flowering, because the mold can be =)
What is the solution now? If acidic – it want more potassium. It's time to reduce the concentration. The cones will not gain in volume, maturation stage started.
It’s nice, good luck!
Scrog was set very high for this flowering stage. In this time there is no fast growing and colas have already been braided into the net (you missed this moment). Now your scrog is for beauty, it doesn’t perform its intended use. your next steps should be such: set scrog a below, so the cones will be above it, do it slowly and carefully; or remove scrog and pull branches to the side using ropes, it’ll be easy.
If we eliminate the nitrogen, it will spoils the food. nitrogen is the conductor of phosphorus and all the other elements. phosphorus without nitrogen is not absorbed, it remains like dead weight in the the substrate and becomes superfluous. We need to decrease nitrogen and to add potassium, and the most importantly it is to reduce the total EU on output to 1 EU. After the bush bloom according passport and gains weight. As a rule before the end of the last week plant doesn't eat all fertilizers. EU is about 0.5 - 0.7. It tells us that the nitrogen is ended, all the rest will not be absorbed. Who breaks the nitrogen early and lose weight of cones 😊.
Maybe you need to slow nitrogen? Potassium monophosphate only hasten the end, and you'll loose opportunity to grow weight of cones. Give solution with increased phosphorus. I would have done:
1. Ash
2.NPK 90-110-200
By personal experience: At the start of the flowering I always put the ash. Thereby nitrogen is sharply reduced. The plant is quickly switched to the flowering. Then nitrogen is reduced to normal value. High nitrogen at the vegetation stage gives long flowering.
Hi! From the 4th week you must add to Flora Nova Bloom some phosphorus and potassium, such as PC. Bloombastic by Atami is good. You can't correct yellowed leaves, but have to add elements for growing cones
Thanks for advice, bro. I can’t move the scrog, it’ll break two beautiful colas (they bent under the scrog on 10-15cm). And fixing prevents gently stretching. I think it'll stands another week, and then I’ll take off it.
About stretching…I’ve already pulled as far as possible, the extreme sides haven’t enough light. If I stretch it more they will be absolutely in the shade. I’ll do folding of leaves, just do not quite understand - take the wire and carefully tie them to the trunk?
