Flower week 2 - Nutrient regimen: 1.75 ml Armor Si + 2.0 ml CalMag + 6 ml FloraMicro + 9 ml FloraBloom + 1 ml RapidStart + 1 ml Floralicious Plus + 1 ml Liquid KoolBloom. More than 6" disparity between tallest and shortest bud sites, corresponding to lux measurements 80000 lux and 50000 lux respectively. Most growing sites recommend max 80000 lux, so may bump up light intensity a bit for the lower buds. 11/11/2019 (F13) - Moderate defoliation completed couple days ago. Flower stretch almost complete, bud sites about 18" now except for the 3 problematic ones up front on the left plant, but that's due to topping them over a week after the rest. Plants are growing hairy with pistils and it'll be fun documenting them for 10 more weeks of flower. 😔 Tent climate: 82F and 42% humidity. Started building new LED strip light for the herbs, clones, and whatever else that'll fit on the shelf space. It's a 14" x 36" shelf (3.5 square feet), and these plants don't need the light intensity of flowering marijuana plants, so this build's original objective was only 20 watts per square foot. Using Bridgelux Vesta Tunable strips for two main reasons: 1) each strip has both a 2700k and 5000k color temperature channel allowing you to effectively select your own CCT target between those 2 values, and 2) 90 CRI. With 2 75W drivers for each color (warm/cold), the build will have 150W of power, but the heat generated by maximum output would be of major concern. Strips should also provide a much more even light coverage compared to the vero 29 COBs in the grow tent. More information on this build and a build log coming soon after assembly and testing.
