Chempie is our new triple hybrid. Its genetic line is (Cherry Pie x Chemdawg) x do-si-dos. A new genetic pool where you can find your unique phenotype among the most advanced varieties of the moment.
This variety reacts positively to the FIM pruning, producing long arms that will equip its height in the high zone. It is advisable to prune lower branches.
During the flowering period Chempie has a production of very long and thin pistils that will give rise to large clusters of broad and compact flowers.
Its flowering time is 60 days, although given its genetic condition can have variations of a week.
Started a bit slow, with some signs of mutations, kind of.
Just one day behind the WM, but still going good, transplanted in the final airpot, topping in a few days
topped and training started.
Mutation signs stopped, but as she's vigouros also she's quite asymmetric, so I guess it will be a little challenge to train as I want it :)
Very sturdy branches
Final week befor the flip, periodic defolitation, very nice and healthy plant, probably would need some more days to even out the canopy, bu the WM is getting big and I don't want an out of control situation.
Bravo to Remo Nutrients and Xtreme Gardening, so far quite a game changer
What a beast she is, not the easiest to train, because of the sturdiness and irregular grow pattern, but very healthy and fast plant.
Also a lot of defoliation going on, stretch is irregular too
Very interesting plant, being the first time I had no idea of what to expect, so maybe I did too much lollipopping, lesson learned for the next round.
Flowering def started, and stretching is slowing down
Still defoliating, but this is the last week, I got a couple of branches out of control from the rest of the canopy, lesson learned for the next round with the cherry pie, she really grow like a beast, some of the stretch is over 3x
She stretches a lot, I should have pruned more lower bud sites, lesson learned.
Also, she's a beast when comes to replace pruned leaves, it's like i never defoliated lol
I expected bigger buds, but maybe she will explode later, just as she did with the stretch, that was incredible in the third week, pistils are getting orange already, so I don't know what to think
If you rub her sugar leaves, she gives you a strong smell of gasoline and cookies, which I def love, A LOT. Still hoping she will get fatter still, also 2/3 weeks to go, maybe she packs in the final rush
:)
Finishing up, started flushing at the end of this week, smell is not strong but touching a sugar leaf gives you a wonderful fuel cookies scent. cloudy on the 60% of heads I would say, I hope I can chop it together with the washing machine
