Unfortunately there is no absolute answer to that question. Since it is your first grow, it is completely up to you. Are you the guy that wants to learn by just watching the plant go without any training at all to apply that knowledge to future grows... or are you the guy that just likes to experiment and try things out? Decicion is yours. Oh and btw, if you end up LSTing end you break or snap a branch, its obviously gonna decrease your yield but stuff like that happens and the plant is just gonna keep on growing so dont worry too much :P
