Seed was germinated for 2 days in a damp towel. After that, it was transported to the soil where it sprouted after 3 more days. The hose on the picture is used for watering, since there is no easy access to the soil in space bucket.
Last week of vegetation. I have topped her once, which seemed to give birth to 4-6 main colas and 4-6 more secondary colas. Slowly running out of space in space bucket, so had to flip her soon.
First flowering week. The smell started to appear shortly after last week's topping, so I had to change my setup a bit with stronger fan and carbon filter. First signs of pre-flower can be seen.
Finally some early flowers! I have defoliated a bit during this week to get more light to bottom colas. Nothing too drastic though, roughly 10 big fan leaves were removed.
Some serious frosting starting to appear. Smell is getting stronger, but still nothing carbon filter can't handle with ease. I also did some maintenance, disassembling the space bucket temporarily, to clean up dead leaves.
Getting fatter every day. Some brown pistills are starting to appear, so hopefully just a few more weeks! Smell is starting to get more noticeable when filter is removed. I also cut back on nutes, because I could see some nute burn at the tips of the leaves.
More browning and fattening! Some nutricient defficiencies started to show up, so I will modify my feeding schedule a bit. So far I have been feeding them 0.25l twice per day, I will change that to 1l every 2 days and see where that goes. Anyway, it seems like 3 or 4 more weeks to go!
Getting close now! Half of the trichomes seem cloudy and I also see some amber now, so I will give it another week or two. My goal is mostly cloudy with a little amber, that seems to give me the most enjoyable high.
The smell is really, really strong right now - when the carbon filter is removed, the entire room stinks up in a matter of minutes.
Nearing harvest. I have decided to chop one of the smaller colas to have a comparison of early and later harvest - and it's really potent. It's very in-head high though, so I'm giving it at least another week to give it a little bit more of amber trichomes for a better couchlock.
Some new white hairs are still popping up, but in smaller and smaller numbers, which also leads me to believe the harvest is very close.
Quite a lot of amber trichomes on the buds now, even though there are still some clear ones as well. I have started flushing and plan to harvest within a week - maybe during weekend? Will see, I'll be watching the trichomes daily.
