Right now im just seeding them seems to take root and will pop any moment. seed started 2/20/2020 It took 1 day of shot glass dunk method, which was 2oz bottled water in shot glass for 12 hours floating at the 15th hour it sunk. i tried to tap it to go under at 12 and 15th hour before it sunk gave another 12 hours had small tail already starting. Placed for 3 days inside paper towel in 1 gallon ziplock using water from 2oz shot glass. on day 5 i sewed directly into soil only had 3-4mm tap root. starting from when seed was placed in soil on day 6 but we will refer to this as the start day of our journal from here on out. placed the seed directly in my burpee expanding seed starter mix, mixed with 10lb bag of black gold all purpose soil I also put in 1/4 cup of blood and bone meal each respectively into the soil. filled my tray which appears to be about 2l pots... not entirely sure of the pot size. Im intending to move these outdoors. 5 days in tray seems like watering today it is about to pop up through the soil and stand on its own by day 6 in soil. so we are on day 11 respectively Still maintaining keeping the moisture accurate in the mixture. not really looking for metered watering currently. Have only used 1/4 gallon of my mix between 6 different seed strains. Im expecting 1 week in soil by 3/3/2020 it will be starting to be measurable and accurately approached to all aspects of its life cycle as it pops through the top of the soil. I chose to cover it back up today because it wasnt fully developed and may have exposed itself prematurely. Update 3/2/2020: has a healthy Cotyledon stage sprout. Hasnt fully opened yet but opened up to about 1.0-1.2" over night still slightly drooping with the U shape from trying to stand up. So will wait to see how it stretches the light. Because one of my other sprouts was drying i decided to put a preventative humidity dome over it for the day to see how it balances out. updated it with end of day photo appears to do real nice as it should Ran the dome for half a day. But still appears to have mono cotyledon and hasnt fully opened. but by tomorrow should be good to go to start week 2 on 3/3/2020

So for week 2 we are in full Cotyledon sprout. The odd thing about this monster is it appears to only have a mono cotyledon and a mono node. never have experienced a full mono so no idea how it will turn out. Its growing well. I havent been trying to water it but it seems the substrate is drying out/draining more then id like. Recently had my grow room get hit with White powder mildew on my spring seedlings. Removed them and sanatized and will treat these plants with neem oil most likely when they develop further in the veg state. Since these will be moving out doors by hopefully week 6 or 7 it will give me plenty of time to treat and maintain it should it arise. Was mostly from classic peat pots we use for seedling starters. We always get a few that end up with WPM. Im not sure if i should be concerned with the single mono leaf that sprouted from this strain. but will keep running and see how she develops. also checking my charts i realized i never added mykos. So i did de-root (very gently) the plant and proceeded to add mykos to the roots. still developing nicely after application on 3/3/2004 so all seems to be going really well. No burns from the lights or excess drying of the leaves. No nutrient burn from the small amount ive added. As im only adding 1-4oz of water as needed just to ensure the soil isnt drying out. which is very easy to tell with my mix as the top turns to powder.

What is this called when you only get 1 leaf and 1 cotyledon? is this adverse or a negative? never experienced a mono. Is this going to perform sub par and should i pop a new monster to be a mother for this strains grow?

good ones, I call him "brown"😜. I explain, you have half the food and light processing. From my experience (I have one that was born without cotyledones and this small, pretty but small) I would tell you that it will have a slower start. But you never know 😎, with love Happy grow

so as we know this one is monster and has unstable genetics. its definitely showing. im trying to recover it as best i can. seems to be getting too much 'P' or 'k' even though im adding straight water at this point for past few weeks. You will see update on week 6.

so ive been dealing with ph fluctuations. This was the monster strain that was a mono. It was being a pain from day 1. ive had my soil ph go up and down from 8 to 5.5 and i keep trying to keep it balanced. Has to do with my well water more than anything. seems to be solid and good enough genetics that it wants to thrive. Its my maintenance that seems to ne the issue more than the strain itself. It seems to be hot in the "p" and "k" nutrients. Ive been using flush to get nutrients out and the run off keeps testing about 6 ph. i'm hoping as it matures it will balance out. This could be a classic case of "over mothering". but given the other strains i have with same issue im inclined to think my well water is the issue.
