I think WW needs no description, it was the first weed I grew and the only one I love until today.
En tot vandaag ben ik veel jaar getrouwd met zij.
I had bought many seeds from ILGM before Menneer Robert decided not to ship to South America anymore (btw I live in Uruguay) so I have a bunch of white widow seeds and gold leaf that are running old (almost 3 years). I'm always trying new strains so I almost always have a little excess of feminized seeds.
I put to germinate four seeds, from which two never did it, and two germinated, but one of the seedlings died soon after sprouting.
I have read that with old seeds the main problem is that the seed husk gets hard and prevents water to come in or the tap root to emerge, so I rubbed the seeds with sandpaper (fine grade) and then soaked them in 100 mL deionized water with 4 drops H2O2 at pH for 36 hours.
Two seeds never managed it and one died of the two which succeded to develop a tap root.
After a few days I started to fertigate on 12 3 2020 (twice a day) and I notices that despite I use a very low strength solution ca. 250 ppm, run off was very high fro a seedling ( it was about 600 ppm) so flushing with the fertigation solution I managed to put that value down to 350 ppm which is more friendly to the roots. I think that since I'm starting a fertigation regime, run off wil be soon near to the value of the solution inflow TDS.
