I flushed her last weekend. So I am waiting that the pot has dryed out so that she experiences a little bit of stress in the end to produce more resin. I read in the Grow magazin that this is a scientific proven technique. Lets see if it works. I think in around 3 days ( after this weekend) its a good time anyway. The top buds are allready further in the flowering process then the buds that are lower on the plant. But thats always the case in my growbox.
@Gravedancer, i see you will harvest something no dought, my observation came from the internodes distance, is strechy, if you pack more light the girls stay more compact, lower denser bushy and develop more branches earlyer so that impact the harvest. πππ»ππ» Good luck happy growing ! ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
Thanks for the update. Looking great! Looks like some nice pistols shooting up on the flower sites. Should starting putting on some weight now! Nicely done. I'll be updating my FastBuds grow to week 6 tomorrow 02/04). How about you? Continued best wishes on the grow.
@Zannabis7,Yeah ive been struggling a bit because this strain stretches a lot. I heard the same from different blackberry growers. I had to go to the DIY market today to extend my growbox. I always upload on weekends
FIMing is a tricky technique... If you dont get enough of the new node removed or pinched right, it will just stall and grow out normal but with deformed leaves. But if you get it right, you'll get 4 nodes produced! I think moving forward Im going to stick to straight topping as Ladies heal faster with less issues and you gain 2 main nodes out of it. Might want to contemplate getting a bigger light; She looks overly stretched as though She's reaching hard for light energy. The Maravi 300 or Mars Hydro 300 or Meihzi 300 are all good decent LED lights and you can usually get them for around $50 on Ebay/Amazon. Good Vibes your way on this grow!
@Gravedancer, I dont know if Id agree with that... A 30watt light is very small for Cannabis growth. Promise I wasnt trying to dog you or anything, but on the contrary, just wanted to see you successful! π
@BudKingsGrow, my light is the best you can get. She looks a bit stretched because she only grew in hide after the fim-cut, instead of poping out new leafes and branches
Really like how your Girl has Budded out up by your LED! And the colors... Whoa is She Pretty! I bet you could get another Blackberry grow with good Topping and light distance to give 2 or 3 times the Bud sites just by seeing how good this Gal has done near your light! Great job overall and a big π to @Fast_Buds on great genetics!
@ScotlandDrGreen420, btw. If you search for something with nice colours, I can highly reccoment dark devil from Sweet Seeds....it tasted pretty sweet as well
@Gravedancer, nice one , now it's for the taste test haha.... I'm sure it will taste unreal tbh most berry strains taste lovely if flushed and cured correctly
@BudKingsGrow, the buds on the top are allready pretty dense. The buds at the lower part a bit airy ....and the pistils are getting brown at the top while the ones further away from the light are just got milky
Good Morning Gravedancer! It's looking like your Gal has finally grown enough height towards your light for some canopy development now. Although it does appear that it's right at the top of your Grow Setup... So sorry that FIMing didnt work for you (I've had multiple attempts at FIMing fail me too so dont feel bad about that!).
I would recommend switching to Topping now - And I would Top every single central node on of your highest branches. Then when the two axillary nodes split, Top every central node again. Then repeat process until She starts to Flower. Hopefully you will be able to "Bush" out the top of your Lady before She runs out of space for Her Early flower stretch!!
For your next Grow (if you are going to keep the same light) I would start your seedling off with the light much, much closer and see if that keeps your internodal spacing tighter.
Happy Growing, and Best Wishes π
