GG Fem vegged under 100W QB by GreenLeafGrow for about 2-3 Weeks.
The plant was started in a 10L Fabric Pot by FreedomFarms only fed RO water during this stage.
The conventional outdoor growing 'season' is coming to an end, however where I live our winters are not harsh and can theoretically grow all year.
This GG was transplanted into a 40L Fabric Pot..
Soil;
-> Local Compost
-> Native Forest Humus/Top Soil (+ local mycelium)
Organic Ammendments;
-> Coffee Grounds
-> Wood Ash
-> 'Turbo Grow' Rock Dust
-> Rock Phosphate
This diary begins with GG switching to flower. The idea was to keep this plant short/bonsai and 'widen' the canopy using LST and HST.
As the plant redirects its energy into flower I will keep LST to a minimum. By catering to the plants needs (Mulch, Nutrients and Love <3)
I expect this plant to produce stunning flowers.. Stay tuned.
As GG proceeds into her second week of flower the plant stretches towards the sun and its canopy matures. I am very impressed with this plant and the width I was able to achieve using simple LST. Selective de-leafing to increase light penetration to nodes where they were previously covered by fan leaves.
Nutrient schedule;
Feeding 1-2times/week
- Fish Emulsion
- Blackstrap Molasses
- BioBizz Bloom
- Introducing home 'brewed' banana tea..
Plant is doing all the hard yards here, my job simply comes down to general plant maintenance and feeding.
The beauty of no-till / organics is that the growers work during the season is minimal as nature and the biology in the soil take care of everything.
Tuesday, May 5th: GG races into Week 4 of flowering - the half way through her bloom phase.
Saturday May 9th: Hi diary, today I collected horse manure for Hugelkultur vegetable beds so decided to share that here!
Back to the plants... This plant is so happy! This pretty much marks the end of W4 and nature is clearly in control and thriving.
GG Harvested on 29th June (Monday) (Beginning on W12)..
Signs of bud rot on some main tops led me to harvest 'early'... Could've gone a few more days. 😄
