backtracking as it is 30-Apr-2020 currently: 03-Apr-2020 sprouting was challenging and a lot of took some sort of sharp object to pull off seed shells. Seeds are ~approx 5 years+ old however well stored. Choco #1 from AKBB was already culled.

Very fast and vigorous growth. Coco coir at 5.8-6.0 ph. Leathery leaves due to early undiagnosed low humidity. Overall very good. Transplanted 4 of them into larger containers. Photos taken 18-Apr-2020

Currently 30-Apr-2020: exceptional veg period. flip occurred 2 days ago on 28-apr-2020 with the 100w LED spider farmer. will be receiving a 550-600w quantum board kit and a tent to put them in soon which will be practically a lot better. Vigorous growth continues to be noted with plants at approximately 15'' tall. (chocolate mint og at ~10 inches) Plants were topped (fimming failed me this time, improper technique). Clones were taken of the large jack, Gorilla Girl, and Chocolate Mint OG. All plants replotted in Dutch Coco 5gal bins that were overwatered. Have not watered for 2-3 days however continuing to monitor moisture. Using Remo Nutrients full supercharge line for veg and flower. Taking a break due to slight tip burn due to likely overfeeding (likely caused by a bad VPD and low humidity which lead the plants to transpire very quickly and uptake too many nutrients too fast) and transplant. Will administer light flowering feed in approx 1 days depending on medium dryness, still overly soaked from the transplant. Purchased humidifier to bring up humidity to 50-60% with cool mist Jack Herer (Seedsman) #1 in the back right of photo is noted to have a very pungent fresh cracked grapefruit smell. Very bushy and somewhat indica leaning pheno. Side branching is truly exceptional. Leaves are bigger than my hands. Gorilla Girl (Female Seeds) Top left of photo long main stem little side branching but massive indica leaning leaves Critical Orange Punch (DP) Bottom right very vigorous growth and fruity smell. Great side branching. Jack Herer (seedsman) (bottom left) somewhat lacking in growth and seems a bit deflated but sativa leaning leaves. Slower growth than the other jack even though cracked seeds on same day. Was going to cull but read that hazey/ sativa leaning Jack Herer phenos are highly prized. Will continue with it and give it a shot it deserves Chocolate Mint OG (bottom in 1.2L container) was started later on on a whim and repotted to larger container from 200ml cup. Roots already at bottom in 2 days. Very fast growth and massive fat indica leaves. Smells like a strange chocolate incense. Very happy with this one and will definitely repot to a 5gal container in approx 2-3 weeks flowering all in all very pleased so far with the growth during veg, and all this with a 100w spider farmer for veg. This quantum board LED tech should definitely not be overlooked despite their higher price. Pictures might seem light green but I brought them outside to enjoy some sunshine and trust me the massive fanleaves are rainforest deep green. New shoots are lime green and growing rapidly. No signs of hairs yet, 2 days into flip.

Week 1 flower is complete no buds yet plants are likely still stressed from transplant to 1 gal containers. Chocolate Mint OG remains in smaller container. Have built and set up the HLG 600h kit and it is so far working fantastic. I noticed that the side branches have really perked up and are taking in extra light. I am keeping the light away at 24'' at full power for the time being as it has been recommended by other growers with this light. Temps are still too cold for them to go into the tent outside therefore still keeping them indoors for the time being. Nute burn seems to have been alleviated by rotating water - feed - water - feed. No apparent nutrient deficiencies however the smaller jack herer seems to be struggling a bit. Looking forward to hopefully getting some bud clumps forming in the next week or two.

hello everyone, week 2 has come to a close and the stretch really is crazy. They started at 15inches and the critical orange punch has stretched to 33 inches so far. Likely most of the stretching is done at this point They will be put into the tent soon when temperatures allow. They are getting too big for the closet indeed Also, small budlets are hopefully forming so i really hope the pistils start shooting out. flowering is a bit slow and at times challenging patience this time around, likely because i repotted right when i flipped to 5 gal containers, and because i am impatient. After some investigation and looking up issues online from Humboldt, my suspicions were confirmed and small sacks were growing on the chocolate mint OG. It hermied during the first week of flower and has been culled and removed, which is very unfortunate because it was growing well and had a nice peculiar sweet (chocolate maybe? biased obviously) spicy nose. We therefore are left with 2x Jack herer from seedsman, 1x Critical Orange Punch from Dutch Passion and Gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds, They should look well in the 4x4. Plan to transfer to tent in about a week or so, I will keep you all posted as always, had an issue with underfeeding temporarily with unph'd water, will need to lower feeding as tip burn came back again, Have a good week

flowering is thankfully in full motion for the Critical Orange Punch, the Big jack herer and the Gorilla Girl. A lot of progress in a single week, the small jack herer is lagging a bit behind, it has been stunty throughout the grow they are enjoying the new tent and the scrog net, it was a bit challenging at first to weave them through it but I think I've done a decent job of spreading the heads and trying to distribute them equally, It smells like a citrus farm, the gorilla girl has a lemony spice to it, the jack herer has a citrus lemony smell and the critical orange punch smells heavily of sour grapefruits I am feeding them the full dose what happened to be tip burn was likely the light getting too close while they were in the closet and causing light stress. the hlg is very strong. I am keeping most of the canopy at about 24 inches away however there are 2-3 main branches that are 17-18 inches. There is slight tip bleaching on a few buds which has not gotten worse thankfully, will keep you all posted and here's to hoping the buds keep stacking up nicely stay safe and stay good

hello all, week 4 has come to a close, we have a bit of light bleaching on tips of the closest buds so i have lowered the hlg dimmer about 5-10%. otherwise things are looking real good also supercropped the top branch on the critical orange punch as the bud is almost entirely bleached. I did not expect it to more than triple in size. It literally went from 14inch to ~52 inches, about 3.5x stretch. smell is intense citrus coming from the exhaust and inside.

finally got my ppm meter I took readings and was shocked to find the Critical Orange Punch had overflow reading at at 2500ppm Big Jack Herer 3500pmm Gorilla 2200ppm Small jack herer was stable at 1200ppm runoff (this was likely because I had an interim full flush before flipping to flower due to a Ca+ deficiency and re-dosed it. The flush probably cleared all the salts accumulated during the veg cycle. It was a good thing I got the meter. I noticed a fair amount of brown leaves shriveling dying below the canopy, which I thought was normal par of the course since they're almost at week 6. I was wrong. I rinsed with several gallons of 1/4 strength nutes and the COP + Jack now have runoff at 1500ppm. Gorilla at 1300ppm. I will dose 1/2 strength today and full strength tomorrow and ensure more runoff to clean the salts out and will keep measuring PPMs The cop is packing on a lot of weight and I think it will be done in 3-4 weeks. Jack and Gorilla likely 4-5 weeks left. Small jack is progressing slowly, I give it 6. enjoy and stay tuned friends

One of the main colas on the critical orange punch is basically 4-6 inches from the light. I tried to supercrop but it just bounced back. I'm leaving it as-is in order to protect the lower buds on the Cola (instead of cutting it off). Good move or bad?

I'm running into the same issue with my tent. Gonna just max my lights and if it's a problem tie that cola to a side bar and pull it over.. hopefully this helps you! Happy Growing!👊

hey boys things looking really good i'd say the jack herers need 3-4 more weeks i checked the gorilla girl trichomes they are mostly clear, she is rupturing calyxes still and creating new white hairs the orange looks almost done. 70% cloudy maybe 5% amber 25% clear? Thoughts on how long the critical orange punch has left? I'm thinking 3-7 days, comment below!

great orange smell hay is almost gone 6 days into drying and curing well. Pulled about 90% cloudy maybe a few days early but honestly the tent was getting overcrowded. High is very uplifting happy cerebral and super frosty and potent. do be careful with nitrogen with this one. it can eats a fair bit and handles 1400-1600 ppm but do not push it. start slowly. dried 5 days at 50-55% RH and went into jars after audible crinkle test at around 57-63% humidity.

will update on this harvest once dry. still wet and hanging. pulled based on leave trichomes which were starting to 50% amber on top, however did not check buds extensively, my mistake. pulled maybe a week early but it looks quite done. also did not want to risk high humidity molding as much rain lately and 80%+ days of humdiity
