Spyder7answered grow question 5 years ago Those are all good questions. First, your seedling looks "leggy" or stretched, a sign that its getting too little light. Either your light is too far away or it isn't strong enough; though you need to be careful when moving it closer that its not so close that it "burns" the plant.
Regarding fertilizer/nutes, it looks like you're using the same soil I used or something close; I used Promix "Premium Potting Soil" and had good results, though it needed nutes after 3 weeks and that's something I neglected - this is the benefits of hindsight advice I'm giving that is going into y next grow.
You haven't stated what you're growing - is it an auto? For autos, I think you're fine for the first 14 days, though some give it a taste of weak ves nutes in week 2 (I wouldn't do this in soil). For the first week plain water is normal.
By week 3, nutes are still optional and its really just preference as there doesn't seem to be a consensus here for soil, beyond the recommendation that you use only veg nutes (avoid miracle gro) at half strength.
For autos, week 4 is usually at transition week and nutrient schedules switch from veg nutrients to bloom nutes in week 4.
Plant nutrition 101 is that there's 3 major stages to plant growth, and it only needs nutes in two stages but at different ratios: germination/seedling (first week: no nutes needed); veg which starts in week 2 usually, and flower which in autos usually occurs in week 4.
All of which can be simplified by following the "Lucas Cannabis Formula" which is a minimalist approach to nutes that uses only two nutes from one of the big 3 manufacturers, instead of their recommended 3, and in much lower doses in soil. Though I would round it out with their Cali Magic or Cal Mag.
You can google "Lucas Cannabis Formula" for the specific details, but its two big strengths are that its both minimalist and still complete. You can do it for more - as I will beccause I stumbled on it after researching and buying nutes from other companies - but there's really no reason to when you don't need to: General Hydroponics is one of the most popular and trusted nutrient brands and one of the biggest so its solid.
I'm going a different route, but I spent more and I don't expect higher yields than if I'd done this instead.
In general nutes are fed once per week, and not where they'll have to sit in their own runoff. The established practice is to feed until 10-20% runoff (I did this by adding 20% more water when feeding and feeding outside the tent).
As to watering, one of the most common beginner mistakes is to over water. I did this, looking back, even being aware how common that is. Watering deserves a post of its own. Although one tip I'll give is to add 1 ml of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution per 100 ml of water (a teaspoon a liter/pint) when watering (not to feed water though). This converts whatever you're using to rain water, as far as the plant is concerned, and its good for water/nute uptake and to promote root health and prevent root rot. Since hydrogen peroxide is cheap and this is easy to do, there's no reason not to do this except perhaps in flush and while feeding (though it may be fine for both, I prefer mixing my nutes with plain water and flushing with plain water).
Tents are so cheap and come in so many sizes, with so many benefits, that i can't think of any reason not to use a tent. The tent provides a perfect environment for the plant (2nd to the sun) and they're cheap.
Good luck.
