The seeds came from a couple friends that have been cultivating organically and outdoors for some years now. Pollen does fly, and these two friends aren't the only ones that grow outdoors in the region. They're mostly sativa landraces, with some indica here or there amidst the genetics. Let's see how they fare indoors!
@Gabarram, Yes, the strain is mainly a sativa landrace from the mantiqueira region that's been pollinated by wind time and time again. You never know what's in the pollen, that's why I think they might be hybrids. But they're most definitely sativa dominant.
I also recognize a trait that I introduced to this one friend that gave me the seeds. The reddish tint on the stalk is from another landrace from the Brazilian northeast known as "manga rosa".
