First Week Growing - As already mentioned in the comments in the photos, this is a second cycle of cultivation. in the previous cycle I found several problems, both growth and genetics (at least for the red poison). The change of lighting already gives its results from the early hours, slightly faster growth, leaf thickening and robustness of the stem. nothing to say regarding fertilizers, biocanna has an excellent range of products, easy to adjust and above all biological which makes the taste much better. BTW this first week of growth leaves me pleasantly satisfied for both varieties, I have preferred the soil before cultivation, specific that everything that is used is completely biological even the pH correctors. Hope you all will enjoy my first diary of therapeutic marijuana.
This week was excellent for growth, the height is doubled for all plants, Shiva is the only one to be taller with 15cm of stem, the average width of all is between 17 and 27cm in diameter between tip and tip of the wider leaves. Ifrit seems to have some genetic problem, (I think) in fact as you can see it is clearer than the others, Shiva and Bahamut have a hint of brownish tip on some leaves, the thing does not seem to widen but if you have advice or know what it can be comment below please.
The fourth week is over, the first leaves of 1 and 3 tips are yellowed and dried. Now they require more abundant wetting, I have come to give it 2 liters in a week and will probably require more afterwards. Next week I will make a defoliation on the lower part of the plants and top up the soil in the pots. Stay Tuned!
This week has been quite difficult, the plants have started to take more water than expected and the humidity has been a problem, but there are several changes, both on the leaf and the floral level. I have practiced for the first time a low defoliation and eliminated the "distractions" that were created in the highest parts. Next week I plan to clean them even better by eliminating other leaves too. The flowers start to be bigger and more satisfying, especially in the STA, which are already producing a good quantity of resin (not very visible in the picture), while the RPAs are in their development phase and Ifrit begins to blush.
As anticipated last week, I applied defoliation for the first time, it seems that they reacted well and without problems. There were temperature drops not too worrying (only 2 degrees less) and humidity peaks immediately resolved by increasing ventilation. As you will notice the photo of the day 37 is missing ... I was too high to take pictures (hehe! 👽).
The week went well, the trainwrecks have a good production of resin and good sized buds. The red poison is a dark red almost purple, including some parts of the stem, the buds are not too large but are well formed with rosy shades in the center and darker towards the outside. There seems to be some genetic deficiency that is noted on the tips of Shiva and Bahamut.
I hope to collect about 60g dry this time, the first crop with the same varieties (not on this diary) gave a yield of 24g from four plants.
