LSD-25 Outdoor

ButtersStotch 2020-05-20 (Day 1) Again big thanks Fastbuds for the Purple Lemonade, LSD-25 and CBD 20:1 samplers! I love my cannabis but I’m not only in this for the taste and effects, I’m also in it for the beauty of the plant. I’m super excited to see how this girl turns out and if she’ll darken, I imagine she will as you can already see darker pigments developing. This will be my first outdoor soil grown Auto run and I’m more than excited. She’s planted beside a Purple Lemonade in my vegetable garden. The soil rendered big tomatoes, cucumbers and one large cannabis plant last year sans nutrients. I’ve amended it this year with some soil from the cows barnyard and if necessary I’ll top dress with some Gaia Green supps. There is still a chance of frost at night but I really doubt there will be any. For now I’ve covered them with some clear Tim Hortons cups to increase the humidity. I can’t wait to see how these girls do outdoors in the super hot Ontario summer. I can’t wait to see this bad boy grow beside the rest of my fruits and veggies, I also can’t wait for the beautiful colours this plant should develop! Thanks again Fastbuds!

ButtersStotch 2020-05-27 (Day 8) Well these girls are thriving in an early summer heat wave. +33 and humid the last coupe of days and no rain. I couldn’t grab any Gaia Green at the hydro store so i think I’m going to grow nuteless until a deficiency develops, at which point I’ll correct with GHE Floratrio and liquid CaliMajic. The one plant I grew in this flowerbed last year didn’t show 1 deficiency so fingers crossed it wasn’t a fluke. Can’t wait to see her darken you!

ButtersStotch 2020-06-03 (Day 15) I’ve come to the conclusion that these girls are very unlikely to suffer any deficiencies growing in this flower bed without supplemental nutes. If I run into deficiencies later on I’ll try and amend them, likely with GHEs FloraTrio. She’s growing great, temps have tapered of and we’ve gone from a hot dry week to a cool rainy week. She endured one day of high winds and is still thriving! The soil I added this year must have had an abundance of seeds in it as you can see in the pictures the weeds are thick. Haven’t had too much time to weed in the last couple weeks with the new addition to the family but hopefully by next update the garden should be weed free (except for my special weeds). I’m already excited for this girl as she’s already darkening up! Can’t wait to see this black/purple beauty!

ButtersStotch 2020-06-10 (Day 22) Preflowers have just barely started but they’ve started. Time for the interesting part of the diary to begin! Nothing to report, no nutes and some hot muggy Ontario weather. I’ve had to water occasionally with my high pH tap water but the soil is a sufficient buffer. I only water in the evening when the sun isn’t as intense. She’s got some leaf damage from some high winds we’ve had but it’s negligible. Time to see the black flowers form! 🥀

ButtersStotch 2020-06-17 (Day 29) Flower in full effect 🌹 and I’m super excited to see these colours! I’ve never grown a dark or purple strain like this before. Impressed with how thick the stock is on this lady. I really am unsure of how she’ll yield as I’ve seen some big yields and some very small ones, and I’m likely not using any nutes throughout this grow. Don’t really care of the yield, I just want to see how beautiful this girl can get and the taste will just be a bonus!

ButtersStotch 2020-06-25 (Day 36) She’s stretched like crazy! 29” tall and just looks so cool! The black is just bleeding from the buds to the stems

ButtersStotch 2020-07-02 (Day 43) Just deadly looking! Coolest looking bud I’ve grown! Can tell she won’t be a massive yielder but I’m expecting that from other diaries I’ve seen. This girl smells very similar to the purple lemonade I grew over the winter. Stay tuned and watch her finish up!

ButtersStotch 2020-07-09 (Day 50) Sunny as fuck and hot as balls, near 40 C with the humidex. This thing just looks plain evil, black as fuck! No nutes and watering every 5 days or so with straight tap water. She’s a week ahead of any of my other autos and you can tell as she’s by far the most dense. Not much longer, stay tuned!

ButtersStotch 2020-07-16 (Day 57) It’s cooled down and there’s been some minor rain over the weekend. This girl is in the home stretch and has likely 1-2 weeks left. I’ll check the trichomes before the next post. She’s definitely getting thicker and denser! Nothing but a breeze to grow!

ButtersStotch 2020-07-21 (Day 62) Likely 1 more week! We’re in the home stretch! Bit of foxtailing, this thing just looks so damn cool, everyone that sees it thinks it looks amazing. Open my patio door and you get blasted with a mixture of aromas. Stay tuned and watch her finish up!

ButtersStotch I will update everything once dried and cured, 42 g dried is my guess. Super heady high, love it! Fan favourite for sure. Gassy, strong unique flavour. You need to try this. Hide it in your flower bed as the pure black buds can fool any non pot grower into thinking they’re beautiful flowers. The unique smell profile could fool them too. I need to get more beans since I’ve only got two left and everyone loves this strain! Dried to slightly less than I thought, 33 ounces of evil black buds! Can’t wait to try this stuff!
