I forgot to take photos the previous week, but the plant seemed to grow great, lots of new leaves and growth, watered once. It takes about a 6 - 7 days before the pot is dry which seems a bit long but I hope this will improve once the plant grows. But the this week I spotted a brow spot on one of the first leaves. I started to read up on what it could be, and thought the most possible to be ph fluctuation, nutrient burn or overwatering. I flushed the plant a day after spotting the first brow spot with water that had 6.1 ph (or so I thought ...). The next day, the brown spots were much worse, even starting to appear on higher level leaves. I read up some more, and found out that shaking the water temporarily raises its ph levels ... Well before taking the final measurement, after adding some ph down i always shook the bottle to mix it ... This made the ph fluctionation problem the most probable one in my mind, So the next day I flushed with this time hopefully good water with ph of 6.6.

Am I correct in assuming that the spots on leaves were probably caused by ph fluctuation? If so, is there anything I can do besides flushing with proper ph water?

Either that or ya dripped some nute water on the leaves.. what's damaged will stay damaged.. look to new growth to see if your issue is fixed or not. Happy Growing! 👊

I have what I think is big number of big leaves that are really close together, sometimes even on top of each other, should I be worried about it? If so, what can I do?

About two week ago, lower leaves started yellowing, and I saw burn leave tips, so I suspected nutrient burn. I only watered with tap 6.5 pHed water since, but the burnt tips and yellowing are getting worse continuously. At least 3 largest lower leaves died off over the period.

It looks like you may have a few problems there. You may have an issue with phosphorus deficiency and the drooping leaves could be either over watering (most likely) or heat stress. How hot does it get in the grow area? Do you have good ventilation?

Looks a little overwatered maybe? Good luck!!!

@minigroww, it probably gets a boost from the dissolved oxygen in the water and then goes back to being suffocated. I have a problem that my pots take over a week to dry slightly so can't add much feed unless I were to water/feed a very small amount each time. Also the fungus gnats love the constantly damp soil. Hope your grow goes well!! :)

@@54degreesnorth, I thought so too, so I let it dry up completely once before watering. It also seems that the plant picks up and stops looking so droopy after watering but idk ... I watered today and it drank up almost all of 2 liters I gave. But thanks for the suggestion.
