@@KushyToker75, clover has been used for a cover crop for ever. It's a "nitrogen fixer" meaning it pulls nitrogen right out of the air and stores it In the roots adding nitrogen to your soil. Another reason I like it is if there was a problem with my soil the clover would likely have showed me before I put the important seeds in giving me time to fix it and not effect the growth. And lastly as it grows it will maintain canopy shade over the soil blocking uv light and acting as a living mulch that helps slow evaporation of moisture and helps to create a robust microbial eco system that will form a symbiotic relationship with my weed plant all of which makes my job of helping nature grow my plant much easier and problem free
