After topping last week it took 2 days for the plant to start growing again and has started flowering too.She has a few sites with healthy looking pistils and taking more frequent waters now going from once every 3 days to every 2nd day now. The migro 100+ light has been turned up about 10% and the hyperfan has been turned up to combat the heat.
Week 5 and I got absolutely nailed by a big infestation of fungus gnats. Solution was to vacuum 2 inches of top soil from the pot and replace it with new dry soil. Then I sprayed everything down with neem oil and placed a fan directed across the soil. Problem solved but not without the bastards causing damage.
On the plus side the plant actually smells like a bag of skittles and it is becoming quite resinous too. Buds are slowly growing but I'm holding off on the next feed because I don't want to have the soil moist for another day or two to make sure the gnats don't come back
The past week the plant is starting to come back to being healthy after a serious fungus gnat infestation. The gnats haven't returned and I am back feeding her every 2 days now. I removed all the unhealthy leaves and did 2 sprays of neem oil on the soil. I've increased the power output of the micro 100+ to around 60% and I'll turn it up to 70% in a few days. I think I've saved the plant and I'm hoping to get a good harvest in 6 weeks time. The plant seems to be remaining quite short and think all the stress might have stunted her.
